"You know, Sandra," I said, my voice steady and sweet. "You're right. Red is a very difficult color to manage. It's so... permanent." I reached for the wine, and with a "not-so-accidental" flick of my wrist, I tipped the entire glass onto the front of her white silk.

"He just said he would kill me if I told you to break up with him, didn't he" I shook my head, waving both my hands. "No, no, of course not. He was just messing with you. Riven would never hurt you" She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I don't believe that. He literally drugged me. Riven's a black flag, Hazel, not red, not yellow, just dark, charcoal black, black," she said, then glanced at him, her head tilting. "He does look good, though. Did you always know he could cook?" "Because of my hair." She starts to play with the ends of her mostly pink hair. "I'm grey, the color that's between dark and white," Kristen says. "Because I'm the innocent one here but I'm also moving to the dark side." She starts to giggle. "You are definitely going to the dark side." Tatiana agrees with her. "I still can't believe you are a virgin though."

"Yeah, I've met your cousin. Her hair is brownish red, isn't it? She's very beautiful even though she doesn't look like you two at all." Kay cleared his throat, annoyed. I moved to the bars and tried really hard to look towards the main door, but my cell was located at the opposite end of it, just before a turn that led to more cells.
