Five glass globes of different sizes rested on the top shelf with mysterious fog swirling inside them. At the top of the shelves, rested three human skulls. Old and yellowish. But the scariest part was that they all were emitting sounds which could steal the wits of a man leaving him cold and white. The skull resting at right was cackling continuously. The one at left was crying by releasing ugly wails that could chill the very bones of a human being. The one in the center was yelling the verses in an unknown language.

Such a horrible sight overwhelmed the terrified young woman as she tried to escape from the fully emerged black skeleton. All around her, skeletons and beastly creatures arose from the black puddles. Malevolent dark energy cloaked their bodies. The skeleton's crimson eyes stared down at the frightened girl whose eyes were rimmed with tears. A cry of fear ready to escape her throat was cut short by a sword in the skeleton's hand. Slashing it down, the girl's blood soaked the streets, but it was soon absorbed by the sword the skeleton wielded in his hand.

It was as if no one was qualified to look at this skeleton. However, as Raider approached the skeleton and looked at it, it seemed to feel his presence and grew a little brighter. The skull in the center shone more than the rest, as if something was inside of it. Suddenly, as Raider arrived in front of the corpse, a body of light burst out from the skull and circled around Raider and the bones. Raider felt like this blob of light could easily take his life if it wanted to. Slowly, the light came to hover above the skeleton and change shape.

“So, I made myself a name! Christine, the Sorcerer of the West. It has a nice ring to it and it does sound youthful too!” Everyone thought that Christine was not scary at all. She was nice and very fun. Well, at least she broke the witch stereotype. “Now let’s discuss why you’re here.” Suddenly, the room became serious. The lively energy was gone as Christine’s face went serious. “Why are we here?” Azrael asked to lessen the tension “Azrael, you are here to stop Brody.” And in a single breathe, Christine showed them the visual of the Crimson Crest Pack.

And a human skull adorned his head. He wore a necklace made of human skulls too on his chest. Death and destruction were flashing in his eyes. Immediately behind him, the mighty Hunger Rider emerged, astride his black Agalariept. The body of this monster had skin stuck to the bones. His face looked like a charred human face. A whip tangled around the neck of this powerful immortal. Those who had a braver heart would have been terrified by the vision.

As it got closer, Blake could see the creature more clearly. The body was that of an oversized dog, no more of a wolf, with its straight and seemingly sharp black hair. There was a skull in the shape of a dog in place of its head with no eye sockets or mouth to be seen but a crack along the center of the skull. The creature was moving its head from side to side, and then the center of the skull head opened. Within were what looked like red membranes, and a mighty sonic shriek was heard from the opening. It reminded Blake of a movie he once saw with a similar animal called a Shrieker.

My hair fell over my face and tears threatened to betray my pride. Before I could think of what to do next, a roar that shook the ground beneath my feet sounded in the direction of Brax, and three bodies smashed into the wall almost crashing into Drake. Brax was partly shifted. Black scales covered his entire body. His eyes were glowing crystal blue with black slits for pupils. His mouth held rows upon rows of razor-sharp teeth, ready to tear flesh from bone. His claws were razor sharp and at the ready.

Nina was experiencing the worst moment in her life. She saw a figure she has ever seen in her entire life. The face was almost like a deer’s skull but sharper, angrier looking. It had a humanoid shape except everything about it was longer. It must have been about seven or eight feet tall but it’s limbs were all much to long. The arms stretching down long past the midpoint of the body and the long horrible hands stretching out beyond that. It was cloaked in black so the torso and legs were only a shroud of black making it impossible to tell what horrors were beneath the darkness.
