The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

Morning Light and New Silk Raven woke slowly, the tower room bathed in the soft scarlet haze of dawn filtering through heavy curtains. The violet orbs had dimmed to near-invisibility during the night, leaving only the faint glow of the blue-flame hearth. She lay still for a moment—listening with her body to the quiet rhythm of Victoria’s stillness beside her—then slipped from beneath the crimson sheets.

Iridian

Iridian

Was he the one who slashed through all of the pictures? There were more questions than answers, which fueled my decision to pick up another halfway charred book. This one read, "1848". Again, I chose a random page and opened the book. I was beginning to see a theme here as the same two children reappeared. This time, they were no longer children. The scene took place in the forest, at the lake I had seen previously in Iridian. The water rippled, sending the galaxy scattering, blending the purples and blues into one solid color.

Amy
Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

Light & Darkness: Book 2

Light & Darkness: Book 2

- she said to herself, rubbing eyes lightly with her hand. After all, Nadir had spent all her life in the Underworld, and to feed she would always go out at night, returning before sunrise, so she was not used to it, and the sun's rays striking her eyes were not pleasant. Nadir got up and pulled the blinds all the way down, then folded the couch she slept on and stowed the sheets in it.

Reborn As a Haier-Elvian

Reborn As a Haier-Elvian

God Inggra separating every continent with vast stretches of ocean, so they won't disturb each other. This set of books managed to drown me into its world until the time passed very quickly. The evening had come ahead. The sky was reddish-orange, and gray clouds adorned it. The sun was going to set over the western horizon. Flocks of birds were flying and singing at the top of the building. Maybe they wanted to going home. That was how it should be. I had to going home before dinner, or I would going to skip it. After reading, I intended to close the book. However, I halted immediately by an interesting page. 'Indemnius Spirit Crystal of the Gods.'

Midnight Whispers

Midnight Whispers

So tired that I just wanted to sleep for eternity. The steam was filling the room in a wet cloud. I morphed the clouds into animals having them float around the room. I smiled as a raven swooped around made just of clouds. Such a beautiful bird it was... A knock sounded from the door. I closed my eyes not moving to open it. “Valerie open the door or I am coming in.” Justin spoke. My mind was elsewhere. I would probably never leave this castle. Jumping out the window may be better than fighting against fate. If I was lucky the wind would catch me and bring me far away to safety. Far far away.

Faking the Mate Bond

Faking the Mate Bond

I asked in a quavering tone. He nodded. “I-I… I will… ‘ad astra per aspera.’” ***** The war will begin tomorrow. I peered at the red sky from the balcony draped in Zephyr’s robe. I had never seen a dawn this red before. It was as if the sky was the reflection of the rivers of blood that were about to flood the lands. Honestly, I was blank. I didn’t know what was right and what was wrong anymore. The uncomfortable feeling in my chest was the only thing that reminded me of how unpredictable the future had gotten in a matter of a few months.

One of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read in this platform. Well written, strong characters with deep backgrounds, a more than decent emotional rollercoaster… OMG! This author has my standing ovation from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!

The King's Maiden

The King's Maiden

warning: this chapter of The King's Maiden is marked mature as it contains vivid descriptions of gore, violence and war. viewer discretion is advised. [ IN WHICH SHE IS AT WAR ] War. That is the first thing I wake up to after the supposed "sex dream". A scar of bright light hangs in the bat-black sky as a sea of wounded people run past me while I lay face-up on the sand. A gash of radiant light breaks through the cauldron-black sky seconds after, and it seems as though there's something hidden in the clouds, creating these ruptures of moonstone-yellow lights.

Reclaiming the Love We Lost

Reclaiming the Love We Lost

Slowly, the first light of morning began to bleed across the horizon. The dawn didn't arrive with the usual muted grey tones of a chaotic Manhattan morning. Instead, the sun burst through the clouds with an extraordinary, blinding brilliance. Vibrant ribbons of deep gold, crimson, and brilliant pink shattered the dark skyline, casting a warm, luminous glow over the glass towers and the distant, sparkling waters of the Long Island Sound. It was a morning of absolute, unprecedented clarity.

BOUND TO THE MOONCREST ALPHA

BOUND TO THE MOONCREST ALPHA

Then, with a dull thud that echoed around the silent room, I shut the book. My gaze shifted toward the grand arched window. It was evening now. Outside, the sky was painted in a bruise-like gradient of deep violet and twilight blue, the gloomy clouds hanging low over the pack grounds while the cool air whistled softly against the glass panes. The quiet beauty of the territory felt suffocating, a stark reminder of the gilded cage Creighton was slowly building around me.

Crimson Moon

Crimson Moon

I was looking at a new person, and she was looking at me through new eyes. She wrapped her arms around her knees as she crouched beside me. We were both leaning against her bed frame. I kept my eyes on the purple rug, it covered most of the floor of the room. I felt her gaze on me. There was a strangeness to the silence, one we both didn't want to break. She knew what I was, she knew I was dangerous. The sun was rising now. The part of town was mostly always cloudy. It only made sense that this was the perfect place for the higher court to set up one of their headquarters.
