He then says, "Please! My little shifter, you have had a lot of different drugs in your system lately. I want to make ensure they have done no harm to either you or your pup." Unfortunately, he has a point, so against my better judgement, I move back over the bed and sit on the edge. I hold out my arm and the healer wraps his hand tightly around my arm just under the elbow. I ignore the spiders crawling over my skin, spreading from where he touches me. I then flinch a little as he slides the needle in and takes a full veil of blood. I then feel him remove the needle. The healer then slowly puts everything back in his bag, bows slightly to Valentino and then leaves.
