"Hello?" An older woman came to a stop when she saw Ronnie. "Hello, I'm Veronica, but everyone calls me Ronnie. You must be Marie Weaver, the housekeeper." Veronica held out her hand. "We spoke on the phone." Instead of shaking hands, Mrs. Weaver beelined it across the room and hugged her tightly. Veronica sniffed, her voice was shaky as she spoke, the pain in her voice so evident. “Veronica..” Mrs Janice sighed, watching the girl breakdown right in front of her. A part of her was moved, but another part of her couldn't care less. The only reason she ever wanted Veronica to marry Noah was because she didn't want Charlene in his life. Monica's insecurities resurfaced at the sight of Veronica. She was in a one-piece suit and appeared to be thirty or less in age.
