You’re his daughter?” Brittany said and Catherine was about to go to get her bag but Lyra approached Catherine and gave the bag to her.

He hurriedly takes the travelling box away from Ruby, who releases it freely to him. Meanwhile, Alexandra glares at him silently, without uttering a word. Once he is out of sight, she turns to Ruby. "K.J. you are looking great!" Alexandra compliments. K.J is the abbreviation of Ruby's native name. Which is Khadijat. Khadijat is Alexandra's paternal cousin. She is the only daughter of her father's younger sister, who is married to a Yoruba man. Ruby is Alexandra's closest cousin. She literally tells her everything. Although they only hooked up during holidays. But the bond was still there.

The McKinnons had invited a few investors and rich people over for a typical rich people small gathering. They were the least of my worries to be honest. Tate growled and charged at my alpha. Before he could get any farther I screamed. "Stop!" Everything seemed to slow down. The thing she wanted the most in this world was to make that girl disappear, she couldn't believe that all her hard work over the years could be threatened by the appearance of someone so insignificant. She soon confronted herself however when she had a bright idea.
