Trapped In Lies

Trapped In Lies

“Just give me a chance to make it up to you.” I looked him in the eye and said, “Do you know what regret really is? It’s realizing you have permanently lost the chance to make things right. My father is gone. The best years of my life are gone. My health is gone. What could you possibly offer to make up for any of it?”

A Night With The Ruthless Mafia Don

A Night With The Ruthless Mafia Don

She couldn't escape the nagging thought that her actions, driven by desperation, had unknowingly unleashed a nightmare. Regret etched lines on Marisa's face, and her fingers clenched the edge of the seat as if seeking some anchor in the storm of remorse. The weight of guilt intensified with each passing street, as if the city itself echoed her inner turmoil. In the hushed confines of the cab, Marisa's whispered self-reproach mingled with the distant sounds of the city. If only she could rewind time and erase that ill-fated decision, sparing Dave from the gruesome fate that awaited him. The regret, like a relentless tide, threate

Regret After Divorce

Regret After Divorce

She… she really did it. With a flare of fury, I hurled my copy of the certificate into the trash. “Scarlett Taylor!” I roared, my voice shaking with rage. “Let’s see how long you can play it tough. You will regret this. I swear it.” Without even turning her head, she replied: “The only thing I regret in my life… was marrying you.” She flagged down a cab, got in, and disappeared without a single glance back. Cold. Sharp. Final.

Silenced Bride, Relentless Love

Silenced Bride, Relentless Love

The statement immediately captured her attention. Because regret had shaped so much of their lives. Adrian continued. “For years I regretted losing control.” A pause. “Then I regretted being wrong.” Another pause. His expression softened. “Now I regret wasting time.” The honesty felt profound. Because it reached the heart of everything. Time. The one thing nobody could recover. The one thing nobody could replace. Years lost. Conversations missed. Memories never created. Interesting. Very interesting. Ava understood exactly what he meant.

The Devil's Forbidden Angel

The Devil's Forbidden Angel

I use that to propel me forward. Those voices of yours are drowned out by the loud thumps of my beating heart, the thumps that are my own cheerleading squad telling me just to try. Just. Try. Just Try. And I know myself now just as I am knowing more about you, is that what I don't want to feel, more than you in my head and my heart, is Regret. Fear, you come and go. But Regret, well, Regret stays forever. And Regret is the most unwelcome guest because, in most cases, I can prevent Regret from coming into my home.

My Ex-husband's Late Regret

My Ex-husband's Late Regret

I don’t think about anyone except her, she's my whole world, and I lost her. Regret was a foreign thing to me once, it was something I believed belonged to weaker men, to those who failed to take what they wanted when it was within their reach. But now it sat in my chest like a slow, suffocating weight, tightening every time her name crossed my mind.

Love Slave to the Mafia Boss's Passion

Love Slave to the Mafia Boss's Passion

I’m was worried sick about him… Laying down on the long sofa, I felt terrible for what I’ve done and hadn’t done. This is such a mess, if I knew that thing would turn out this way, I should have talked to Hayden properly yesterday. Why didn’t I do that? What was I thinking? This feeling that felt like a void inside my stomach is probably called regret.

Author clarification: This book is predominantly a romance/steamy book. It is PURELY fiction. No characters, gang, or any setting is real. This book does not intend or desire to focus on the mafia setting but more on relationship development. The author does not intend to do any research on mafias.

I’m really enjoying this story. I just spent the last 4hours reading this book, it’s that good! Just when you think you have it figured out, there’s another twist in it. (My only complaint is, I wish the author would proof read it before hitting the send button. So many simple spelling errors.)
