Rejected Mates Books Novels & Stories

Their ability to predict seemed to have an extent only prior to the final settlement of two fated mates. Even after months of facing Alexei’s rejection, I could still feel the pang in my heart. His rejection announcement was embedded in the very depths of my memory, which remained to be excruciating. My wolf and I had been trying to ease that pain in silence and it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. Sometimes, we are still longing for our mate in times of loneliness... just like now when we were supposed to be mating and not me, listening to Aena arriving at the hot summit.

I discovered him, though, spending private time with someone else. My instincts begged me to go, to get as far away from this horrible scene as I could. However, it was too late. They were aware of me, locking their gaze with mine in a perplexing expression of astonishment and annoyance. When they finally understood, Louis, my alleged mate, looked at me with a face filled with resentment and disappointment. His words stabbed me in the heart like a thousand daggers. "You," he snarled, his voice dripping with contempt, "you're my mate? You are rejected by me, Louis, a Moonshine Beta werewolf. What's your name, please? He sadly questioned.

"The Moon Goddess was kind enough to bless me with a new mate after you rejected me. It just goes to show how much of a wicked mate you are. We can never go back to the way we were, Noah." I took a step closer to his kneeling form, leaning forward until we were almost touching noses. "Now, I want you to read my lips very, very carefully, because I am not going to repeat myself. I, Astra, Luna of the Moon Stone Pack, reject you as my mate. I reject you, Noah." Immediately I repeated those words, Noah gasped and staggered backwards, clutching his chest. It was as though my rejection had affected him physically, as though it was a literal punch to his fragile heart.

Kai looks at me with furrowed brows, making me shake my head. “I did it for her. I cannot touch her and I have hurt her in the past. That is not something that I want to do ever again. This hurts me as much as it hurts her.” Kai sits up, shifting in his seat. “Bullshit. So, you plan to reject her?” I close my eyes for a short moment, taking a deep breath as I push down Jax going mad in the back of my mind. “Yes.” His eyes widen, and Cayden growls disapprovingly as I add, “I have talked to Judge Attwood about the possibility of taking a chosen mate. He was thrilled about it as it would give us the chance of creating strong offspring and we have already looked into potential mates.”

“And that’s not all, he acknowledges me as his mate and wants to claim me!” Mary’s eyes went wide, her hands flying to her mouth. “Wait, what?! Stop!” She exclaimed, her voice filled with disbelief. I laughed nervously, feeling a bit overwhelmed. “I know, right? It’s all so sudden.” Mary leaned back in her chair, a sly grin spreading across her face. “Well, well, well. Looks like fate brought you two together. You got rejected by Marcus, and now, you’re the mate of the Alpha. Talk about an upgrade!” She teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

“Come on, join me. We may not go to war but our body needs it. You don't want to feel like flip flops when your wolf comes out.” “Full moon is still not that close. I can slack off. And besides, we do all the damn work here. Isn't it enough training for my body and why should we care about the full moon? We are servants and shouldn't dream of such things. Just like finding our mates.” “There’s nothing wrong with dreaming, Nelo.” “Of course. I agree with you,” she scoffed. “Okay. Imagine this scenario. You finally meet your mate but guess what, he rejects you. Why? Because you are nothing but a servant!”

“Let me do you the favor.” I took a deep breath, willing myself not to falter. “I, Elena Darkwood, reject you, Liam Hemsworth, as my mate and cut off any mating bond between us.” The crowd murmured in shock, but I didn’t care. Maria’s eyes gleamed with triumph. Liam smirked, his voice cold. “I, Liam Hemsworth, accept your rejection.” And just like that, the bond between us snapped, leaving nothing but emptiness in its wake.

My soul cried out in silent supplication. But the spark died out. His face hardened again. “I, Alpha Mikail of the Silverbane pack, reject Lyra Blackthorne as my mate.” The world shattered around me. No. No, no, no. The pain of rejection was a fire that pierced my chest, but this time… it was worse. I felt my wolf howl inside me. Her lament was heart-wrenching, and then… silence. Emptiness. My wolf died inside me. A heart-wrenching scream escaped my lips and I collapsed to the ground, unable to stand. The bond broken twice… was a fate worse than death.

Exhausted from the trauma of the night, she had fallen asleep in the chair, trapped within his physical radius. To anyone else, it was a tragic, forced bond of survival. But to Katherine’s twisted, jealous mind, it looked like the ultimate act of betrayal. Duncan lay on the bed, his face peaceful for the first time in years, his soul anchored by the proximity of his true mate. Amora’s breathing was soft, her small hands resting near her lap. The sight of them sharing the same breathing space, bathed in the beautiful, divine light of an ancient mate bond, completely destroyed the final remnants of Katherine’s sanity.

I asked with so much cautioned “Yes, I want you to stay the hell away from my mate” I was shocked, I didn’t know she has found her mate but what I don’t understand is that how am I involved in this, the only guy I stayed or joked around with is Adam and there is no way an ordinary Omega will be mated to the almighty alpha daughter “you mean Adam” She laughed hysterically like I have said the worst thing ever “Adam is my real mate but I already rejected him, you can have him but I am talking about Alpha Dane”
