I groggily got out of bed and stumbled over to the door. "Who is it?" I called, my voice still heavy with sleep. "It's me," came the familiar voice from the other side. "You have a meeting in an hour, and I didn't want you to forget." "Thank you for that and I'll be out in a few minutes", I told him. I could hear his footsteps fade as he left the door.
