The Alpha King's Silver Luna
One moment she was a baby in my arms, the next a tiny silver wolf pup, still nursing.
It should have been impossible. Werewolf pups couldn't shift until at least age ten, sometimes later.
But Luna wasn't normal.
Her wolf form was perfect—tiny but proportionate, with silver fur that shimmered in any light. She'd shift back and forth at random, sometimes mid-sentence.
"Mama, I—" shift to wolf, small bark, shift back to human, "—want milk!"
It was exhausting and adorable in equal measure.
At five months, she started walking. Not the wobbly first steps of a normal baby, but confident strides that suggested muscle memory she shouldn't have.
