"Put her on trial! Give her punishment!" Familiar pack mates of the past bared their fangs at me, glaring viciously as if they wanted to tear me to pieces right then and there. My body trembled even more violently; my wolf , dormant for years, was stimulated into waking and kept sending desperate pleas to Silas. Tears streamed endlessly from my eyes as I tried to soothe my wolf . The witch's face blurred before my eyes; she hesitated for a moment and looked up at Silas on the dais.

Xenus, the Rogue Pack's enforcer stood infront of Lupus, blocking his way. "Didn't you all just make it clear that I should go after her?", Lupus asked. He wasn't getting Xenus. He was blocking his way when they made him understand that he was supposed to go after Laureffaine. "Not now, do it next time, she's long gone, let her cool down by herself", Xenus winked. He motioned to Alpha Remus, who promptly began his report. With finesse, he recited Xanne's disappearance with the pup after it was revealed that she had forced a midwife to assist her in snatching him away. His eyes glowed faintly. “What are you doing?” I whispered. “You really want to know what I know?” he asked, voice low and husky. I nodded, heart racing. “Camryn…” He leaned in, his forehead resting against mine. “You have no idea what you do to me. From the moment you walked into Lupinemere, I knew there was something different about you. It’s like…” he paused, searching for the words. “Like the wolf in me can sense it. You’ve got this energy, untamed, powerful. It’s pulling me in, and I don’t even understand why.”

This must be Remington. And Remington… was a werewolf.
