The Siren Song Series

The Siren Song Series

"I'm not dealing with depression. I just don't want to do these stupid exercises. Do you know what it's like to go from deadlifts to barely able to pick up a tennis ball?" "So you're admitting defeat before you even start?" "I wouldn't call it defeat. I would say it seems pointless. What's moving a tennis ball from one basket to another going to do for me?" "I don't know much about occupational therapy, but my best guess is it's to retrain your brain how to do simple cognitive functions. I'm sure you've heard a thousand times your brain has to learn new pathways to create the same actions it did without you thinking. What you're not taking into consideration i

Want My Brain? Ask My Eight Dads First

Want My Brain? Ask My Eight Dads First

Sharon's brain transplant surgery had already been completed. Originally, even Second Pops hadn't been confident about such an unprecedented, extremely high-risk operation. But to get back at the Stantons for me, he'd forced his way through the technical difficulties and swapped Sharon's brain out for the "idiot's brain" she'd prepared ahead of time. I stared at her curiously. Now that she had an idiot's brain in her, would she really become an idiot? The Sharon I saw now had drooping eyes and a slack mouth. Drool leaked out whenever she moved even a little. She sure looked like a fool, but when my gaze swept over her, she still glared back at me with a mix of humiliation and rage.

Triplet Alphas Gifted Luna

Triplet Alphas Gifted Luna

“As if you were working on something.” “Sure.” Thea sensed the parts of his brain that lit up. She funneled energy to those parts, intended that those parts be supercharged, more plastic, more able to connect neurons and work better. Then she funneled in energy to charge him and his body in general. “Wow,” Mr. Garrity said. “I feel smarter. More energized. That was incredible.” Thea smiled. “Let me know if it helps.” “I will. Can I ask what you did?”

I haven't read the whole book yet, only up to chapter 187, but I absolutely love this book. The storyline is amazing, and I keep binge reading even at work when I should be working. It's so hard to put it down. Now that I know it's available in paperback, those are going in my cart today.

I'm not even halfway through this book, and I love it already. It's so different from the usual werewolf books I read simply because it's not about dealing with rejection and surviving abusive family. It's so much more than I thought it would be. Please keep on writing like this it's perfect work.

Contract Luna

Contract Luna

Eric started to explain, in between bites of his third helping. “At first it will take a lot of concentration and you’ll have to clear your mind, but in time after you mastered the ability, you will be able to do it effortlessly. Like I mentioned earlier, it may take a week or more, but it is something you can practice in your spare time and we can even work more on it every day. You can practice by trying to connect with me, so you aren’t disturbing anyone else. When someone is trying to connect with you, you will feel a light pressure at the frontal lobe of your brain.”

I will work on a sequel but it will be a bit down the road after I finish some other books. Thank you all for your support with this book. I wasn't expecting so many of you to enjoy it. it was only intended to be a side project, but I will continue the story with Eric for the sequel.

HIS BIGGEST MISTAKE

HIS BIGGEST MISTAKE

"How can you be so sure? People slip back into old patterns all the time. Especially when things get comfortable. When there's no external pressure to maintain change. What happens when the honeymoon phase ends? When we're fighting about mundane things instead of grand romantic gestures? When being better takes effort and backsliding would be easier?" "Then I keep choosing effort." He followed me but didn't touch. "Keep choosing to be better. Keep doing the work even when it's hard. Elara, I've spent the last few months in therapy dissecting every toxic belief my father instilled. I've faced wolves I hurt and taken responsibility. I've rebuilt an entire pack's culture. That's not surface-lev

I yelled in frustration “my way is obviously not working!” “Okay stop.” We both paused so I could catch my breath. “This might take a while” “There's definitely no way I'm training with Alpha today.” He muttered under his breath. Frustration evident in his voice. “What I'm trying to get you to understand is simple. Remember how you used the wind to boost your speed before you ran and it felt like you were running on air? What I want you to do now is similar. You just have to see it in your head”

Craving Mr. Cane

Craving Mr. Cane

“Have courage. It’s going to be difficult and we need you to do some exercises. Are you familiar with neuroplasticity?” I shook my head. “It’s rewiring your brain. In simple terms, you’re going to teach your mind to look at memories from a different perspective. I’m not going to be some positivity schmuck out there preaching that this will solve all your issues. But it’s a logical step forward.” “How can I do it? I can barely function, doc.” “Are you taking your pills?” “Yes.” “Consistently?” My non-response was answer enough. “Fine, to monitor you I would hand it to you whenever you step inside the office. If you want to act like a child, I’ll treat you like one.”

Forgotten Hues of Love

Forgotten Hues of Love

It was Rael. But why did I say a different name? "Ravnal..." When our lips met, I fell into the depth of darkness. "Her brain recreates or activates the connections that represent previously encoded information and she can recall or recognize that information from the past. She was not able to take the information her brain had received that is why her head throbbed, causing her to lost consciousness. We need to avoid that to happen. You can help her remember things by showing her some pictures but make sure that she will be able to take it."

ALPHA OF ALPHA'S (XERXES)

ALPHA OF ALPHA'S (XERXES)

“Poor Lucien, doing everything he could do to save his little innocent sister from the devil joy knowing she is a horrible person inside and out!” “Your mate?” My head snapped in her direction. I was still oblivious to how she could not see the confusion on my face. Scattering of thoughts, as a flower scattering seeds in a strong wind, hoping that they would find soil and grow well. Yet when there was a job to do when focused and attention mattered, I needed to teach my brain how to retread the pathways of happy memories, and calm times, to switch on its own higher powers and take command of the situation. And not hold Xerxes responsible for this. He was played by his enemies.

Refrainment

"So how long is this training supposed to last?" "That depends on how fast you learn. If you are a fast learner, you should be good to go within three months" Three months? Great! I'm about to experience camping that missed during my childhood "that's... Cool... So how_" She cleared her throat, stopping my next question "why don't you save others question, when we get to the woods, you can then fire them"
