I watched, mouth agape, as Elara effortlessly strung the bow. The practiced movements spoke of years of experience. Captivated, I stared at her for what felt like a minute. I have always been amazed by her, but hell, I think I just fell deeper into her charms.
I fixed myself when Elara passed the strung bow to me, its weight surprisingly comfortable in my grasp.
"This is a recurve bow," Elara explained, her voice soft yet firm. "It's good for beginners because it offers more stability than a traditional longbow. Now, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, dominant eye towards the target."
