High, mocking laughter echoing from the master suite. Then came the silence. And then, the unmistakable sounds of betrayal. Even though I knew what they were, the sound felt like a physical blade twisting in my chest. In my past life, I had been so willfully blind. I had probably stood in this very spot a year ago, thinking they were just "bonding" as family. Now, the pain was sharp, but it was followed by a grim, cooling relief. I had it. The evidence was recording. I wasn't the one breaking this marriage; they had never even invited me into it.

Ryan had tried speaking about it sometimes but eventually gave up. That unspoken incident remained with me, hurting me, burning me up from inside. Whenever she is around me I get reminded of her betrayal, her ugly mentality but again I never felt the same thing for any girl what I felt for her. If I wanted I could have destroyed her with a snap of my fingers, left her penniless but I couldn't. I wanted to see her in pain but a teardrop from her eyes was all it took to make me feel guilty of hurting her.

My ability to fry someone's brains, and of course she deserves it. I let go of the wheel and relaxed, concentrating on her, wishing with every fiber in my body that her head explodes. I wanted her to feel the pain she's caused my family, I wanted her to feel she pain she inflicted on my Mom. She didn't deserve any kindness and I wasn't going to hold back, it was time to get my revenge. Not long, her hands on the wheel tightened and she screamed out in pain, bleeding from her nose and ears. I didn't stop though, I didn't think it was enough yet.

“Your subconscious sees that as a betrayal; you are breaking the promise you were supposed to fulfil.” She was correct; I wanted to bury Ivory for what she did, and now deviating from the part seems like a betrayal. Oliver told me she denied it when he confronted her, and I knew that was a lie. She knew what she did, and I knew what she did. She deserved to pay. Justice was still important to me, but I didn't want to give up what I had now in pursuit of revenge. I tried to balance it out, but that backfired because my subconscious saw my leniency as a betrayal.

I snarled. After a few minutes, Joe brought in the saw. Lucas screamed helplessly, pleading as he watched me dig it into his skin, and all I felt was pleasure. Lost her child and almost got killed. She miraculously survived and plotted against her cheating husband and his devious in-laws. She made sick moves. Took everything from them, drove him mad, and made him feel every single pain she’d suffered, tenfold.”

It was scarier and I didn’t want to mess with that. "Sean you visited the inn?" I wanted to know if it was him then I think one of my worries will be less. "Oh so they told you but I don't care. Amelia, do you want to know what is going to happen next?" I nodded my head wiping my tears praying that Sean would calm down and listen to me. "I am going to take revenge for what you did. And I am going to do it openly because I am not cheap like you to pretend like you are in love and then betray me."
