Why would he need revenge when they had each other? They got married — which sent Svetlana into a frantic rage. She hated Dasha because she “softened” her son and discouraged him from carrying out the vengeance she had nurtured for decades. Because they had each other, Makar not only overcame his addiction — he began working harder, started going to the gym, earned more, and eventually opened his own small distribution company. Revenge became completely irrelevant, because he had found something much more meaningful — his beloved wife. And in time, his meaning in life grew even more, because Dasha became pregnant with twins.

For five years, Claire Carter mourned the twins she believed were dead. Blaming herself, she clung to Ethan, hoping another baby could save their marriage. Instead, he shattered her with one question: “Have you looked at yourself lately?” Then Claire discovered Ethan had another family: Olivia, the woman Claire had rescued and trained, and a five-year-old son who called him Daddy. While Claire grieved, Ethan and Olivia lived as a perfect family. But the betrayal runs deeper. The grave Claire visited for five years may not hold her twins. Now pregnant again, Claire chooses divorce, reclaims her company, and exposes Olivia. The grieving wife is gone. In her place stands

“I'm not afraid that you're going to replace my daughter—because you just don't measure up—I just don't like you or the idea of you.” Vivian waited till the butler had poured her a fresh cup of tea and took a sip of it before she spoke, “You ask me what's my gain in all of this. Revenge. Revenge is my goal, Monet.” “You humiliated my son. Broke his heart. Made him and me the laughingstock of New York.” Vivian rose, her eyes squinting to daggers, fists clenching at her sides as the distance between her and Monet closed, standing almost bosom to bosom.

"I'm here for you, Florida. You don't have to face this alone. Tell me what happened." Reluctantly, Florida recounted the encounter with Ricky, her voice tinged with bitterness. "He looked exactly like Manuel, Fanny. It was as if I was staring at a miniature version of him. And all I could think about was Felicia and the child they had together. It reopened wounds I thought were healing." Fanny listened attentively, her presence a comforting balm to Florida's wounded soul. "I understand why you're hurting, Florida. But we must be cautious not to let hatred consume us. Revenge won't heal your pain; it will only perpetuate the cycle of suffering."

We'd been using separate bathrooms since we moved to my father's home, and I was sure he had noticed but refused to say a word about it. "Oh Cara," Cecelia sighed, "Did Adonis do or say anything to make you feel this way?" "No. No, he didn't. He has been very supportive. It's a me thing." "Forget about it!" She gave my body a full sweep, taking in the baggy t-shirt and shorts I had on. "You're not looking any different than you were before. Maybe your bump and your cheeks look fuller, other than that! You look perfect." "I gained weight." I deadpanned. "A lot of weight! My ass doesn't fit my pants anymore. I live, wearing sweats and boxers. Take a look at me." Dropping word after word.

Another moment further from the cell I should’ve rotted in. I was going to make good use of this chance. I would grow stronger. Build myself back up from the dirt and claw until I could repay everyone who ever hurt me in exactly the same coin. Revenge would come. But first—calories. I almost laughed at how I looked, devouring everything like some half-tamed stray. But I didn’t stop. Not until my plate was scraped clean, and the warmth of the food settled deep in my stomach like a promise. Then I froze again. What now?

"How can you justify everything you've done? How can you expect me to forgive you for the pain you've caused me?" I lowered my gaze, feeling the weight of my mistakes on my shoulders. "I'm not seeking to justify my actions, Melek. I just want you to understand how I got to this point. My grandmother manipulated me with lies about my parents' death, filled me with hatred and a thirst for revenge. But now, standing in front of you, I realize that my love for you is stronger than any desire for revenge." Melek seemed confused, her eyes reflecting a mixture of pain and doubt. "Habbab, I don't know what to think. You've caused so much harm, and I can't easily forget it."

Why should I remain good to people after that? Sophia's head fell. They are on the same boat. He's lucky he still has battalion of soldiers who are still submissive to him, his wealth is still there and his mother is fighting to live. What about her? Even her dignity is gone and that's why she hates herself for loving Justin. "You never told me about this. West, revenge is sweet, but it also has its consequences. If you hurt them, you will be no different from them, I think you should…"
