He didn't see Randy as well until he heard his voice. "Who the fuck are you?!" "I'll just leave," Trevor mumbled, drawing his hoodie onto his head. "You fucking killed him!" Was he dead? Trevor's eyes darted back to Cade. He had killed someone. He didn't know if it was intentional because part of him felt he deserved it since he had been bugging him, whilst the same part of him trembled at the thought that someone was dead because of him. "You haven't answered my question! Who are you?" Randy asked, drawing near. He beckoned to three other people Trevor didn't notice with him until now.

"Check it out. I'm cured." Riley's mouth flatlined. "That was some ointment Mara applied." Tristan strode in wearing red flannel pajama pants, no shirt, and went straight to the mini bar in the corner. He poured several fingers of Jameson into three glasses and handed one to Riley and Brady before downing his own. After pouring another, Tristan leaned against the desk facing them. "Think we're dreaming, too? Perhaps you and Kaida pulled us into your messed up dreamland."

Riven shoved everything back into the envelope, pulse pounding in his ears. Ari tilted his head. “Were those yearbook shots or porno stills?” “Neither,” Riven snapped, then softened his tone. “Just old stuff. Family stuff. Doesn’t matter.” Ari didn’t look convinced, but he let it go. “You watching Kael and Trey?” Riven’s entire body tensed. “Trey owns that bar,” Ari went on. “He and Kael are kind of inseparable. Been like that since forever. But don’t worry — Trey’s got zero success rate with Kael. Pretty sure no one’s cracked that guy open.”

Trey lifts his hands, making a grand gesture as if unveiling a piece of art. “Mommy dearest, of course.” I frown. “My mother?” He bursts out laughing. “Of course not. I don’t even know your mother. I meant my mom.” His mother? "Your mother?". He nods excitedly. “Tina flager?” I ask again

"Took you long enough to recognize me. I gotta say, I’m a little hurt." I felt awkward. "There were too many people back there—I didn’t really get a good look. Uh… thanks for helping us out." Dolly eyed him curiously. "And who exactly are you, handsome?" Trey chuckled. "Allow me to introduce myself—I’m a devoted admirer of Miss White here. Name’s Trey Wynn." With the cigarette still between his lips, he gave a dramatic bow with his left hand behind his back, right hand extended forward. I flushed. "Stop, don’t talk nonsense. Dolly, he’s Miles’ younger brother."

Trey said it is because we share a bond and the energy between us works like a rechargeable battery. Jaxx and Mom left us alone a few hours ago. Mom had to force my brother out of my room, but she told him Trey could help me heal, just by being near me. And she was right. I'm glad Jaxx didn't try to beat the crap out of Trey, even though he said he still wants to. I still don't know what his problem is. It's not like Trey goes around sleeping with other girls, and Jaxx did, until Cassie came into his life... Now it's just her, which might actually be worse!
