Candi stated with repulse adjusting herself on Tyler’s laps. “Ty already got some with the tomboy, trouble in paradise already?” Shane said wiggling his eyebrow “i bet she couldn't get enough and she just have to crawl begging back,” one of the boys commented, the whole table erupted into laughter and what was left of the courage I built up shattered immediately. Clover, one of the players-who is also a jerk-sitting at the edge of the table, then stretched his legs forward when a boy was passing with his lunch tray and the content landed on my body as the boy tripped.

After hiding his body I quickly move the table holding all of the Churches candles, so that it covers the blood that did spill. And then I hide behind one of the church pews. A couple seconds later, the Church is flooded with Russian men, all armed with AR 15 Rifles. Guess I found where all the missing guns went I think to myself. But how the hell am I going to get out of here, because even I am not crazy enough to take on a room full of AR 15's on my own. I mean, I guess I could try to make it to the Church exit and then try to shoot the Churches gas line, but then I would have to deal with Adriano, who specifically told me not to make a scene.

Future Lunas of the bigger packs actively searched out a compatible partner before their twenty-fifth birthday to avoid the games from ever happening, because they stole almost all the choice from the Luna. Being in a strong pack and not having a compatible partner by twenty-five was so rare that Maddie didn’t know when the last Alpha Games had been held, let alone seen one. All she knew was it would take away her right to choose her mate, and all their allies would be allowed to submit candidates to compete for her. That included Red Dawn; which included Daniel.

The target will be blindfolded and hide from the killers, and the killers can choose to catch the target and tickle her or help her escape the other killers. The blindfolded target can have a chance to stop the tickling if he or she will be able to name the killer in front of her. We played the game afterwards after explaining it briefly to them. The game appeared to be fun and successful, if I do say so myself. "That was fun!" Marissa said, panting from running all afternoon. "Yeah," they all said.

Or at least, she would think that she did. Easy prey. But easy also isn’t fun. What is the point of playing a game if it isn’t fun? The reason I wanted her as the focus for this year’s games is because she has been unbreakable. The ultimate challenge. I like a good challenge. And a challenge isn’t a challenge if you know with certainty that you are going to win.
