I grinned wider, leaning forward in my restraints like I was about to spill royal secrets. “What? It's the truth,” I smiled. The ritual began. Ancient chants filled the air as symbols lit up beneath Rhydan's body. As for Azrik it was draining him. I saw his fingers twitch. His brow tightened. It was working, but so was the Blood Moon. “Azrik,” I called, more softly now. “Look at me.” He didn’t move, but I saw his jaw clench. Good. “You’re the only one who can stop this. I walk over to my chalice and drop the blood from my claws into it then pour some all knowing serum into it, a white light smoke rises from the chalice and we watch like a vision as a scene comes to life, a woman is fleeing, she’s dressed in black with her face covered and keeps looking back as she goes. It flashes forward, she is caught her face is clearly seen, her eyes are white and hair black as night and she is scraping at who ever has her caught by the throat “we have caught you Reina the Darcrow, it is futile to fight it, there is no escaping!” the smoke dies down and the blood is the chalice is evaporated.
