I stop and listen as the others bicker a bit about being tired and wanting to stop, there's something out here, I can feel it, can I really keep my friends safe?

Little did I know the story that was about to unfold for me when my friends collapsed and Three people jumped down from the trees, my God she's like the sun, she's gorgeous and those eyes! but why are they out here in the woods?

After running for God knows how long we come up a clearing and the guys slow to a stop " walk between us and keep up the pace " I nod and follow them, I observe my surroundings, it's so beautiful here and my goodness so are the people, both men and women look like they came out of storybooks. I do notice a few stares as we go along, we finally get to a huge mansion and get into an elevator, we come out on the top floor and Evo I believe his name is knocks " Enter " comes a voice so powerful it makes me want to bow my head, he pushes the door and we all go in and Haro closes the door behind us.

" Why have you brought humans here and who is this? " I listen as Evo explains the situation to this Alpha and his eyes have not left me once, I wish the ground could swallow me up, " come closer pup, put the human down, he's hindering me from getting a good scent off you, I lay my friend Zac down and walk over to his desk, he stands a good few inches over me and stares hard at me before closing his eyes and inhaling deep, when his eyes re-open they're pitch black.

" he holds my face and turns my head from side to side inspecting me and I swear I see his eyes water " where are your parents? oh right you said they're not your true family, but you look just like him " " sir ? " " yes Alpha " " good, very good okay well you have my permission should you wish it to join our pack, you wish to see your friends safely home yes? " " yes sir " " very well, you have my permission to do so, but please ensure you return, I will have a room prepared for you at the pack house " " what’s the pack house? " Oh, sorry " " you really know nothing, how scared you must of been growing up of yourself huh " " you have no idea sir, none at all, does Red stay in the packhouse, can I stay in room next to hers? " " so you like Roho, she does not live in the packhouse, she lives with her parents, perhaps I can have a discussion with her while you're away and we can work something out okay, but please be sure you are back here before midnight on your birthday, because the pain you will experience on that day will be the worse kind you'd ever go through in your life and you'd need someone to guide you and that would make you very weak and vulnerable for a while, please, please return before then " "  I will sir, you have my word " " good, by the way what happened to the humans? "

" Red happened to them sir " he laughed and shook his head " of course she did, take them to safety both of you " " yes Alpha " I pick Zac up and we head back to the elevator and back through the front door, we get to a garage, the guys strap my friends into the passenger seats of a jeep " can you drive? " " yes I can " Haro throws me the keys, " get in a follow behind our vehicle, we'll take you as far as the highway and you're on your own from there okay, and as we said not a word to a soul about us understood? "

I hop into the jeep and follow them all the way to the highway, I made sure to take mental pictures of landmarks so I can find my way back after I take the guys home, I honk as I drive pass them and make my way back home.
