“Now that,” she says, her voice dripping with satisfaction, “is how you make a man forget his name.”
I roll my eyes at her reflection. “You’re insane.”
“Maybe.” She winks, fastening a thin silver bracelet around my wrist. “But you’re welcome. You look like temptation dipped in money.”
“Temptation dipped in panic, more like.”
