“I hate you, Duncan." She yelled, her eyes blazing as she took a step back. “Very much” Alpha Duncan chuckled as he shook his head in wonder. “I know, Selena and that's why I want you." When Alpha Duncan the Lycan King came to choose his mate, it was Selena the beta of the walker's pack. Selena hated him, no she detested him so much but Duncan didn't care. She is his and he will make her his with or without her permission.

The day my birth parents found me, the reunion banquet they threw turned into their funeral. My parents and their adopted daughter, Leila, died of food poisoning that night. The only one who survived was my older brother, Alpha Kian. He didn’t like sweets, so he never touched the cake. The cake that I handed to them myself. “So you want to take Leila’s place. “You’re just jealous because she got all our love! “She was the only one who ever accepted you, and you still killed her!” Those were Kian’s exact words as he shouted at me right outside the hospital room. From that day on, I became a sinner. To make up for it, I barely slept four hours a night and worked five jobs just to buy back the villa the rival pack seized during the chaos. However, the day I finally saved up enough, I saw my dead parents throwing a birthday party for Leila in that very villa. Kian stood among them, looking at her with a warmth I didn’t recognize. My mother said, “Isn’t today also Lily’s birthday? It’s been eight years. Maybe it’s time to forgive her.” However, Kian didn’t hesitate to refuse. “No. Even though Leila sniffed out the wolfsbane and saved you, we agreed that Lily gets ten years. “We can’t risk her ever trying to poison Leila again. Not even a day less.” I clutched the diagnosis paper from the clinic tightly and laughed through my tears. I knew I wouldn’t get to ten years. I was already dying.

At the peak of my career, my husband slapped me in public.  With a look of disgust, he said, “Tess, you’re pathetic. You made Grace fail the class because you’re jealous. Don’t you know she’s applying for a scholarship?” Caught off guard, I stumbled and fell to the ground, clutching my stomach as pain surged through me. I knelt there, begging him to take me to the hospital.  However, all he did was swat my hand away and sneer. “Quit the act! Aren’t you just a useless woman who can’t get pregnant?” At that moment, my heart felt like it had shattered into a million pieces. It wasn’t long before bystanders intervened, insisting on taking me to the hospital. Unfortunately, it was too late to save the baby. Once the surgery was over and the reality of what had happened sank in, I turned to him and demanded a divorce.

My confidence soon waned drastically and the regret bounced in. My first day in Brownston and here I was, already making trouble. I could have sworn a puff of smoke its way out of my ears accompanied by the overwhelming surge of anger that rose from the depth of my stomach. I don't want this shit around me. " She says with a taste of anger.        My eyes widen. I thank the sunglasses.        ' She is damn rude, man! But I love it. '      "Woh girl! Mind your language. I respect girls. " I couldn't take away the shock from my voice.       She slightly draws her face at my side, "It was decent, you big oaf! Don't compel me to be worse." She coldly glares at me as she'd kill me with her eyes.  Suhana is a beautiful, charming and intelligent girl. She falls in love with a merchant Navy boy. When she asked him, will he marry her?
