Blaze was at complete ease, blissfully staring out at the water. When Rosie hadn't responded to his comment, he glanced at her from the corner of his eye. He rolled his eyes at her lack of enthusiasm to his sarcasm. "I'm taking a late night stroll to clear my head, Rosebud. What does it look like? You're not the only one with that idea." Rosie sighed. She stepped forward to lean against the banister herself, turning her gaze towards the water. Blaze thought for only a moment before snatching the crumbled paper out of Rosie's hand before she could stop him.

Left alone on a bench, Rose contemplates Saisha's words, pondering her costume choice for the evening. Suddenly, Rose's attention is drawn to the vibration of her phone, indicating a new message. Eagerly grabbing her phone, she reads the text that instructs her to wear black, emphasizing the need for her to be a witch rather than a fairy. Anger courses through her veins as she frowns, feeling manipulated and deceived. She lifts her eyes, scanning the surroundings until her gaze falls upon Blaze, who is also engrossed in texting someone on his phone.

CHAPTER 74- THE RED MOON- (part 2) A bush of dark red rose flowers. Now, Killian did not remember seeing those the last time he was here, and while he was no plant enthusiast, he was pretty sure that he could identify a rose bush when he saw one… even if it hadn’t blossomed yet. Nothing like that had been here. Something about them seemed truly ominous.

"Don’t eat or drink anything he gives you. Watch his hands. And don’t, for one second, believe a single thing he says." Zod’s hideout was as cold and brooding as the man himself. Located on the outskirts of Bomada, it was a fortress of obsidian stone and enchanted shadow, hidden among thick forests of silver-barked trees. Rosa arrived just as dusk melted into night, her cloak fluttering behind her as she stepped across the threshold. Zod was already waiting. "Rosa," he said with a slow smile, spreading his arms. "You still look like the moon herself. Come, sit. Let me serve you something."

he told the driver. "No. That place is too dangerous. You just got a tattoo—" "Now." Rhea sat in her car and suddenly remembered Vera’s list of standards. "He has to tattoo my name over his heart. There’s a briar rose bush on Moonwatch Cliff. He has to pick a stalk for me." She laughed. She chuckled until tears spilled down her face. "Let’s go," she told Thomas. "Stop following them." That night, she scrolled through Vera’s social feed. A photo of a briar rose blooming on the edge of a cliff.

The baby cried, louder this time, but her cries seemed to carry a strange resonance, as if the very woods shuddered in response. The assassins closed in. I could hear their boots, their growls, their laughter. “Kill the brat first,” one hissed. “No!” My scream tore from my chest, raw and primal. The first blade slashed toward us and then, light erupted. Roses glowed, soft at first, then blinding. The pearl inside her flared, sending a pulse of power that knocked the assassin backward as though struck by an invisible hand. He hit a tree with a sickening crack.
