Robert Silverberg Novels Novels & Stories

Thank you for pushing through and finishing book 1. Please let me know what you think! Book 2, Family Secrets is where I will publish any and all sequels. I am in the process of changing the title name to just The Silver Dragon Series. I plan for there to be a total of 6 books. Books 1, which you just read, through 3 will be Davina and Derek's journey to defeat those after her so she can live in peace. Book 4 will follow her daughter Maliyah, Book 5 will follow her twins and book 6 will follow her last child.

This is the first book in a five-part series. These books will need to be read in order for you to understand them. The characters are very dynamic and there will be at least two different plots within eah book which will be very intertwined. There will be hints towards the end that will lead into what will be happening in the next book. The only book that does not hold to this is book two since it is specifically about how the triplets came to be.

“It's none of my business. It has nothing to do with me anyway.” But that wasn't the only unusual sight in the room. The two main people, who seemed like the leaders, had silver-colored hair, and it felt completely strange, but at the same time, it felt strangely familiar. It felt like she had a connection with them in the past, only that she knew she had never seen them before that day. All her life, she had only seen herself with silver hair, which had sometimes bothered her because it was one of the reasons why she had always been treated like an outcast wherever she went, because they felt she was completely different, coupled with the fact that she was an omega.

Rex screamed, and blood instantly stained his chest. The burn of silver prevented the wound from healing. "Awooo—" Suddenly, howls erupted from all around as a hundred Silvermane warriors surrounded them. The "guards" behind me also revealed their sharp, silver claws. Our hidden elite warriors tore off their disguises, unleashed their wolves, and charged. "You..." Rex's wolf eyes widened in disbelief. "Surprised?" I sneered, pulling out the dagger. "The Silvermane Pack's wedding gift is the utter annihilation of you rogues!"

THE WITHERING GARDEN ~MARCUS BLACKTHORN'S POV~ There is a distinct lack of dignity in the apocalypse. I stood on the terrace of the Silverfang Packhouse, holding a glass of 1996 Bordeaux, watching the world end in slow motion. It wasn't fiery or loud. It was quiet. Grey. And terribly rude.

Its form flickered young girl, elder matriarch, weaver of binding, shadow of a forgotten god. “You must let them hear again.” And then Siran woke. The spiral was still glowing beside her. But now, it hummed with new rhythm. And faintly, in the thread... she could hear others responding. Thanks for your patience. Here’s Chapter 23 of Silver Pact (approx. 2,500 words), continuing directly from the awakening of Liraeth’s legacy and the unfolding shift in the magical world:

He shifts mid-run, the dire wolf ripping free of his skin with a roar that rattles the windows. The wolf is huge. Bigger than anything natural. Silver-black fur bristling, eyes steel-blue and glowing. He hits the corridor and takes one look at the bodies. Then his gaze snaps to the bedroom. To Seralyth. To me standing between her and the door like a damn fortress. He doesn’t speak. He doesn’t need to. His wolf moves toward the other end of the hall, cutting off their retreat. Elowen appears a second later—already in motion, already deadly precise. He shifts without drama, a pale predator tearing free like a blade unsheathed. Snow leopard, silver-grey fur, ice-blue eyes. Beautiful and vicious

Something fundamental. Power exploded outward from my core. Silver light burst from my body like a detonation, so bright it turned night into day. The rogues yelped and scrambled backward, shielding their eyes. The light burned, even though I couldn't feel it, like standing at the center of a star. "What the hell?" the leader started. The light pulsed again, stronger this time, and I felt the curse weakening. Not breaking, not yet, but cracking. Like ice fracturing under pressure.

Cassian says, gentler now, pushing off the frame. "And it's your wolf they need up there. A silver reads old blood and bad magic the way the rest of us read a fresh trail. Whatever's driving those rogues, you'll scent it before anyone. The Silver is a story in Thornridge, Aria. A title. Nobody up there is going to look at a legend and see a Hollis runt."

The battle is won, but looking at the silver scars covering my side, I know the war has just begun. "Your Highness!" A guard approaches. "We found something in Margaret's car. Documents. Plans." Byrde takes the papers, his face paling as he reads. "This isn't over. Marcus and Margaret were working for someone else. Someone called 'The Collector.'" "The Collector?" I repeat. "According to this, he collects rare wolves. Wolves with special abilities." He looks at me, fear in his eyes. "And Margaret sent him information about you. About a silver wolf who survived concentrated wolfsbane."
