From the corner of my eye, I see Ragnar watching it all from the sidelines, like a messenger of death himself. A rogue tries to flee. Ragnar's scythe spins out of his hand, decapitating him, but he doesn't kill him, I notice, just as someone knocks me down and just like that, I'm carried into the heat of the battle again. Ryker, on the other hand, blurs between wolf and human, leaving dead men in his wake till the last of the rogues stands. "Who sent you?" Ryker asks. I wobble on my feet, completely exhausted but manage to keep the stray wolf firmly in a chokehold.

"This is private property," the leader sneered, eyeing Aurora. "Passage f*e is... everything you have." Alex didn't stop typing on his wrist. "Kael, Mia. Remove the obstacle. Efficiently." "On it," Mia stepped forward. "Look at this little doll," the leader reached for Mia. SNAP. Mia grabbed his metal finger and bent it backward until the servo-motors whined and broke. She swept his legs, slamming his face into a puddle.

The voice broke through my train of thought, I glanced up to see the space he had been empty. Arms were wrapped around me; I don't know when he moved beside me yet alone when he started to hold me but I doubted he held that type of power, he was to young to be a alpha and Alpha James would never listen to just any wolf. Sol could see the plated lining of the armor on their skin and the extensive wiring that seemed to cover their knecks.

Robin said, wiping the rogue’s blood on his leg. “What?” Robin stripped the rogue’s armor off his body and pushed them at me. I pulled the armored vest over my head. The blood from the rogue’s throat had already soaked through the front of it. Robin covered his hand in blood and wiped it over my arms. I jerked away in disgust. “What are you doing?” I asked. Robin grabbed me by the shoulder to keep me in place. “Stay still.” He continued smearing it on my arms and on my chest.

She developed it after our parents passed. You don't have to worry, she'll snap out of it. All she needs is a distraction from the noise in the arena," Jack replied.
