The Man Lost In the Snow

The Man Lost In the Snow

a collector seated in the front row asked curiously, “the lighting in this piece is incredibly gentle. What was your state of mind when you painted it?” Ethan held the microphone, his gaze soft as it landed on Jane. “At that time, I had just woken up. I didn’t remember anything, and the world felt empty. It was Jane who gave me a second life. When she stood in the yard feeding the chickens, sunlight falling on her, I thought to myself that this was the kind of peaceful life I wanted to keep for the rest of my days. This painting is of the woman I love and my salvation.” Thunderous applause filled the room. Jane’s eyes brimmed with tears. Right there, in front of everyone, she threw herself i

Bayou Whispers

Bayou Whispers

“Shoot the big, scary, talking snake, please!” The smaller man blinked once, then pointed his weapon. The heavy retorts of one of Roo’s borrowed M-16s sent the massive reptile slithering across the debris-strewn floor faster than either man thought possible. The snake gave one last angry hiss, then plowed head-first into a pool of water near the old reception desk in what was left of the lobby. Fernández slowly made his way toward the pool. “If I see another forked tongue or tail; I’m using the 40-Mike-Mike on ’em,” said Fernández.

Midnight strays

Midnight strays

Then, at one moment he opened his eyes and noticed there was someone else in the tunnel with him. "Not much of a lookout, are you?" the large man asked in an amused tone. The man was almost as big as Tarloh. Huge shoulders and arms, and his broad chest and powerful legs were clad in something that resembled snake-skin armor. 'No,' Robbie thought, preparing to wolf-out. 'Crocodile armor.'

His Lordship Alexander Kane

The longer they waited, the more Brody would be exposed to danger. At that moment, there was a new development on the stage. Six powerful figures had all been consumed, and the figure in the black robe was already locked in combat with the scorpion snake, exchanging blows in a fierce battle. With such a robust physique, he hardly seemed human. His dazzling achievements naturally caught Mister Xeno's attention. "Rip open his black robe. I want to see if he's actually human." At the command, Scorpion acted swiftly, spraying venom that instantly corroded the black robe.

To make things worse, he had not been training much for the last few years and his fighting skills had deteriorated rapidly. Snake, on the other hand, was a man is specifically raised by the Brown family do a killing machine. Everyday, he spent countless of hours practicing the various ways to kill people. Needless to say, Rogers was at a complete disadvantage fighting against an opponent like him. If it had not been for Randy Brown's order to drag on this as long as possible, he would have died by Snake's hand long ago. Instead, he had to suffer a slow, agonizing death. Snake cut him up, bit by bit.

I’m done reading this book The last few chapters was a repeat chapter and that is so annoying. It’s not the first time or the last time I’m sure I’m over this book I really like it but not enough to just throw money away Good luck to the author but won’t be getting no more of my coins

Savage Heart

Savage Heart

It was tucked under a ledger, thick with cash that she could feel through the paper. "First job?" Raven spun around, her hand instinctively moving toward the knife concealed in her jacket. A man emerged from behind one of the shipping containers—tall, lean, with the kind of predatory stillness that marked him as dangerous. She recognized him from the Saints' intelligence files: Snake, one of Venom's enforcers and the man responsible for several gruesome executions. "Yes," she replied, keeping her voice steady. "Just following orders." Snake approached slowly, his eyes never leaving her face. "You're the one asking questions about Michael Rodriguez. Heard you had some interesting conversation

A Pet for the Mafia Dons

A Pet for the Mafia Dons

But that did not stop St Just’s head from aching, thoughts churning as he considered. They would have to wait till they touched down to get to Bainca... Until then, the desperate message he had sent to Barry would have to suffice. * In his lair, Snake sat, rubbing his scarred and raised skin. He was grotesque, and he knew it. But the thought of inflicting fear in Bianca’s mind made him grin. A ghoulish grimace. After that, he would move on to ruining Roxanne’s life, he thought darkly.

REINCARNATED BRIDE: THE VAMPIRE HIGH LORD

Raven didn't have time to react, as the creature was on top of her immediately. Instinctively, Raven fought back. She kicked and punched the creature, surprising herself with her own strength. The creature tried to bite her, but she managed to push it away, scrambling to her feet. She could see the glint of its fangs in the moonlight, and fear gripped her. “ what the hell are you!, Stay back!” she shouted at it, but it rushed towards her again. Just when she thought all was lost, a man wearing a red robe appeared out of nowhere. He moved with lightning speed, attacking the creature with his bare hands. He uses his Ford Mustang Shelby this time and we're out of the house in no time. "If you don't want any humiliation, just do as I say and we'll be done in no time. It's easy, you were a stripper, you should know how to seduce. Put down a few notes, bend a little too low and you're good to go." He says but I just have my eyes fixed outside the window, counting down the seconds to my manipulation. ***** Gray & Robin. The name is mounted clearly on the top of the skyscraper and I have to squint to see it clearly.

Sold to my Fated Five Exes

"I need to wash the thought of that girl out of my head." The door opened again, and Robin walked in. He was a presence that demanded silence. Tall, dark, and broad-shouldered, he filled the space effortlessly. He wore a brown shirt that looked ready to burst against his chest. As a wolf-human hybrid, he was more formidable than most. He had a way of using his primal side that made even us stay on our toes. Robin’s dark eyes fell on the body on the floor. He didn't look angry, just inconvenienced. He looked at Rory. "You hit your limit for the month. No more casualties until the books reset next week."

Frequently Asked Questions

the Robinsons Galleria half-human half-snake creature is one of those stories that gives me chills! Apparently, it's a local Filipino myth about a mysterious entity spotted in the mall's basement or parking areas. Some say it's a 'Tikbalang' variant, while others swear it's a cursed spirit. The descriptions vary—sometimes it's a woman with serpentine features, other times a shadowy figure with scales. What fascinates me is how these tales blend pre-colonial folklore with modern settings. Malls are already eerie when empty, so adding a supernatural twist just amplifies that uncanny feeling. I wonder if it's inspired by older stories like the 'Naga' or just collective imagination running wild in those fluorescent-lit corridors.

There's a YouTube video from 2018 where a group of paranormal investigators claimed to capture 'abnormal heat signatures' near Galleria's lower levels. Of course, it could just be faulty AC vents, but the way people connect dots between folklore and 'evidence' is half the fun. My tita insists she saw something slither near the escalators years ago—though she also believes in duwendes, so take that with a grain of salt. Whether real or not, these stories make me appreciate how mythology evolves. Next time I visit, I'm definitely avoiding the basement after dark!
