Laura’s POV A girl in Rick’s life, I didn’t see that coming, I know I’m hiding my relationship with Hunter from Rick, I don’t even know if I should call that a relationship but I have my reasons why I did that, I don’t want to tell Rick until I’m official with Hunter but a girl in Rick’s life I didn’t see that coming. “You have a girlfriend,” Hunter asked with disbelief written all over his face. “No way,” Layla screamed.

“My girlfriend is coming here today and I hope that you’d allow me to introduce Leo to her.” “Of course, why wouldn’t I? I thought you said that she was in Europe with her siblings. Why is she headed here?” She asked. “Because she’s my girlfriend and I want to be with her. It’s actually none of your business why she’s headed here. I just want to let you know so you’ll get the heads up that Leo would be spending time with us.” I replied pissed that she was asking questions about Roxy. “Your girlfriend is never going to be able to replace me. I’d always be his mother.” She stated seriously.

Romario only glared, his patience exhausted. "Because... she... is my... girlfriend," Leonardo stammered shyly, before quickly exiting Romario's office, leaving him stunned and wondering what to make of this unexpected revelation. She had been bombarded with questions from the crowd about the younger brother and the female lead accompanying Luke, making Tegan extremely uncomfortable. "Sister, what's going on?" He chuckled softly, noticing the attention directed towards the lady standing in front of him. "Who is this?" His big sister was eager to find out. "Can you tell me what the relationship between you two is?" Nearby, some curious onlookers were paying attention to the trio, especially the ladies. Everyone was holding their breath, eagerly awaiting an answer. "This beautiful lady is my girlfriend," Luke proudly announced.

"I wanted to kiss you but I saw Jayden glaring at us from around the corner so we better go see him for now." Jonathan and Ricky laughed seeing Lea surprised. They hugged Lea tightly while congratulating her once again. Lea introduced them to Shaira and Tony as well then they left. "Lea, are any of them your boyfriends, who will you introduce me to?" whispered Shaira while glancing at Jonathan and Ricky who had returned to their seats. Lea shook her head. "No. They're my best friends. There's another one, a woman named Shery, who's a vet, but she can't come tonight."

Leo raised a brow then nodded and told her she didn’t have to thank him and turned to his front when he heard, “Leonardo, you still haven’t told us what your fiancée does?” The question came so suddenly and so out of contrast with what they were discussing it took Leo by surprise and without thinking he blurted out, “She is-- er—a model." Cursing himself almost immediately for that tiny slip and for not thinking out a backstory for Paige, but with all the questions asked today he had been so certain they were done with them. He should know better than to make assumptions and not let down his guards.

Just who I needed. She smiled nervously. “Sorry, I—I forgot to ask. Could you make a quick video for Jordan?” I crossed my arms. “Who’s Jordan?” Her smile turned shy, eyes darting away. “My girlfriend.” I blinked. “Your… what?” She nodded quickly, biting her lip. “Yeah. Jordan. She’s obsessed with hockey, and you’re her favorite. She’s gonna die when she sees this.” My jaw actually dropped. “You’re telling me Reyes knew—”

His stomach sank at the shock on Everly’s face, but Rosalee was clinging to him like a tick. Reaching behind his neck, he pulled Rosalee’s hands apart and lowered them while stepping back. She had been friendly before, even flirtatious, but she was that way with everyone. What was going on?
