his ominous tone made Ayracs breath to hitch in her chest. She had been a rogue wolf for 2 years now and though she had faced a lot of threatening situation but on one was as life threatening and serious as this. She had heard whispers about the Moon Crest pack, it was a pack that a lot of rogues feared, respected and loathed at the same time. Their Alpha was known for his blood thirsty behavior and his hatred for rogues and anything alike. “You will die, just like the others before you”. … “Alpha, there's an urgent message from the warriors for you” Silas perked up immediately heard the voice of his Beta, Levi.

“How can you say that? My brother has won many wars, taken over many packs, and removed many Alphas from their position. He started the Rogue Kingdom on his own. No one in the Rogue Kingdom is as powerful as Thorne…” “Don’t drag me into whatever this is…” Vleyr rolled his eyes to the back. “But the times that he couldn’t lead because his mate disappeared, you took over the Kingdom and the Kingdom flourished” “Oh wow, tell me what I don’t know” I smirked, locking eyes with Vleyr.

“A luxury? You’ve taken everything from me, Luca. You’ve taken my trust, my love… my very soul, and for what? So you can feel powerful? So you can watch the world burn?” His face hardened, and he stepped closer, his tone cold. “I am Luca Romano. I built this empire from nothing. I made sacrifices—sacrifices that you, with your naïve heart, could never understand. And if I have to do it all over again, I will.”

I fought ruthlessly for years to establish my dominance in my city and secure my seat on the round table. Flooding the city with thugs and controlling the importation of whores, guns, and heroine doesn’t make you the Mafia Lord. Creating a brutal legacy and making a noticeable difference in the city makes you the number one man in this city. Earning the respect of every other drug lord in the city and knowing how to make your enemies shiver at the mere mention of your name is the best way to become the Capo. That is the one lesson that Carlos is going to learn the hard when I decide to come for my revenge.

Sybil’s POV The man that dropped the gold coin on my head was the second in command, he was known as Eris, and he worked directly with the ruthless rogue alpha. There had been stories about the rogue alpha. Usually, stories were more rumors in packs, but not him, every story was real. How heads hung by the gate of his mansion as a warning to traitors. He didn’t need any petty fear, your head would just as easily add to his collection. He has many names. Great Wolf. The Rogue Alpha, the Warlord, Dalhkan King of the Rogue…how the epithets pile up, no one knew his true name, because throughout the entire pack, one name stood above all, we called him…The Butcher.

As I walk around the great room, it's obvious that certain packs in particular are missing- the Rogue packs. Instead of having different alphas for every pack, they are all run by a king who calls himself "King of the Rogues." I can't help but roll my eyes, anybody who chooses to go by that name probably has a bigger ego than Caleb. Nobody knows what he looks like since few have ever lived after encountering him, his reputation violent and messy. He never shows up to these events despite receiving the invitations. Most alphas would prefer him as a business partner rather than an enemy.

My banishment was effective immediately. While I ran out of my former pack's territory, I vowed my revenge. I will show you, Lucas! I will show all of you! As a rogue, I gained notoriety amongst the rogues, killing my way to the top and earning my keep through crime. Once I had established myself as Rogue Alpha, I went and visited all the crime bosses within the vicinity. I killed them and all their little minions and made myself the new crime boss of the Pacific Coast.

“And of course, you don’t want to mark me because you don’t want to take your throne back.” “I don’t know what I want to do yet. I have no support. No army. It’s not that easy.” “What about these rogues Monty spoke about? What is a rogue anyway?” “A rogue is a packless wolf. It’s not that easy. Rogues aren’t warriors. By the time I have them trained and ready for a war, Caspian would know and we’d all be dead. Well, not you and me…we’d only wish we were dead.”

His flailing feet smacked into Alfos belly but the man didn’t budge. “You fucking want to pretend?” He barked, a red glow appearing on his face. “I saw you leaving the royal coffers which makes me assume you took Dracolian’s gold! Who did you buy with it? Rodrik?” “Is it…possible to buy the one that sees our souls? The one that can hear and see who the god of bond had paired?” He gave a quaky laugh that grated Alfos’ ears. “You should’ve brain, beta. Something of such is impossible. It’s an insult to assume I bought old Rodrik, the first soulgazer of Abbator to do my bidding,”
