Me. "Fuck, Gorilla!" I snapped from my self-pity when well-known face of an old woman popped in my head. I think that everyone has that on teacher that gives them chills. That one teacher who, and you know that for sure, it has every power to put you down and would when and if the opportunity is right. She answers him with meaningful silence and a teasing smirk… Then the lady immediately goes up the stage in front of the classroom and takes the mike from the podium. “Good morning everyone, I will be your professor for this semester. Either that or she was a super good actor. It was nice to think that there was at least one person in this place who wasn't going to tell me how useless I was, which boosted my self-esteem a little.

Miss Greta, the teacher known for being strict but caring, stood at the edge of the stage with a proud smile. Her students had shown their hard work during weeks of practice.

We turn towards the voice, one of the teachers, “Alright, everyone gather up.” At the call, we all gather around and while some gazes fall on me, the others simply had their focus on our teachers. “We’ll be skipping over the roll call today because we have a special guest that decided to take up your physical combat training class today.” The auburn haired teacher says, a square rimmed glass sits on the bridge of his nose. He pushes it up and continues, ignoring the curious mutters that his words had sparked.

His curly hair sits in a small Afro on his head and his face does look newly shaved. He drops his bag on the desk and starts with the introduction. "Hello. My name is Steve Harper and I'm your Social studies, Economics, teacher. I'm new here and I guess most of you aren't . But in time, I might get to know all of you if you let me." he says, pacing back and forth in front of the desk,his hands crossed behind him.

The teacher nodded with a slightly satisfied smile, "Thank you, you may be seated." I sat down and relaxed into my former position, this time with eyes open. That fucking teacher knew exactly what he was doing. Putting a target on my back. Fuck'im. The other two students did the same as me. Judging from the names of their "packs", one was a vampire, and the other was either a dragon or lion. As the last guy sat down, the teacher began again,

I asked. Teacher turned toward me fully. “Stabilize the system manually.” I frowned. “How?” “You will learn by command exposure.” That didn’t sound reassuring at all. Aiden stepped closer. “She’s not a machine.” Teacher looked at him. “And yet she is the only one here who can adapt fast enough.” That silence after was heavier than before. I felt it.
