Roll & Rocker Novels & Stories

After Lucas's first love Mara returned from abroad, he became obsessed with rolling a die and set a rule: odd numbers meant he'd stay with me, even numbers meant he'd go to her. But over three long years, every single roll came up the same: a glaring six. The day I had a miscarriage and nearly bled to death, he tossed out the words "Six is even, I should go be with Mara" and left without looking back. Eventually he moved out altogether and stopped caring whether I lived or died. It wasn't until Mara latched onto a billionaire and publicly cut ties with him that Lucas came crawling home, broken and lost. He burned everything that belonged to Mara, tried every trick in the book to win me over,

Roland held her tightly in his arms, his eyes shielded with ice. Decker clutched one side of his abdomen. It seemed like it was quite a devastating blow evident by the grimace he wore on his face. He made a face as he glared at Roland. “You sure went all out.” Roland hissed. "I can do it again if you want to. Do you want to try me?” Decker sniggered sinisterly. “You’ll end up in jail too if you kill me.” It sounded like he was trying to rile Roland up into making a grave mistake.

Tom shook his head and said “Don’t tell us to pack up then you start with that crap!” he yelled and sat down behind the drums. We completed the song and I stood up to put the guitar away when Jamie did what I just did. He played the first notes of Old time Rock and Roll. I stared at him and grabbed the microphone. Claude grinned and joined in with Tom. I saw Geraldine say something before she stomped off, leaving my band with hers and the company of her sister and the latter’s lover. When the song ended I put my hands up and said

I was floating through a haze until the sparks from Rolls' touch brought me back to reality. "Baby! Please come back to me!" Rolls pleaded. I snuggled more against him. "What happened?" I was a little hazy still. He was petting my hair as he sighed in relief. "You have to stop scaring the shit out of me! You threw up then began to black out!"

Blood gushed out of his wound. Rosell wanted to cry because of anger and fear, but she needs to be strong. She knew very well what these evil men were planning. She's not gonna allow them to do that. She turned to look at Maya and saw Simon touching her. She ran to him and pushed the dirty old man. She then turned to Maya. She shook to wake into her senses. "Maya! Come to your senses!" she said, trying to sober up Maya. However, that made her guard down. One of the guys grabbed her hair.

He placed both hands in his pocket, frowned a little hard. "You finally showed up" Roger said with a mouthful of smoke, coughs out vigorously, and points to a room by his left. The Boss has been waiting, you're late." "Gat some business to handle,I'm here ain't I?"Tom said with a synthetic smile. "Well, tell that to The Boss" said Roger taking another mouthful of his smoke and blowing it towards Tom. Tom ran through his fingers with his thumb, brushed his eye brawls, hardened his fist, hitting the door wide open

Jackson's tone suddenly become cold and harsh. "No. It wasn't like that. Well, I mean it was, but it's not that simple. You don't understand," Erick spoke in a rush and there were tears in his eyes. I mean, there were actual tears as he replied. "You have sixty seconds to explain yourself before I come in there and kick the shit out of you myself," Jackson growled. I had noticed the fact his eyes were now an obvious shade of black and the way his fists were clenching and unclenching at his side was scary.

I declared. Kent’s attention was back on me. He lifted his hands. I saw one of his nails transform into a long, curved, sharp shape. He touched my cheeks with this nail. His touch left traces of heat as he trailed down to my neck. I swallowed because I realized I had forgotten to breathe and he moved along with the movements of my throat.

"Okay... uhm, nice to meet you all." Trace stepped up to me and smiled. "Savannah, meet my bandmates. This," He spread his arms wide being as dramatic as he possibly could "is the Riot Club."
