Roman's Holiday Novels & Stories

"Ija, it seems like all the boys your mom introduced you to, you don't like." It's good and you know that, Tita. "Mom, just tells Tita and Tito that they should just stop looking for a man to marry Heaven," Ethan said suddenly. "That's not possible son, our plan is a double wedding for the two of you and Heaven. Isn't that exciting? You and your best friend are getting married at the same time??" I can see in Tita's eyes that she is happy. Ethan and I looked at each other and fake laughed. "Yeah, super exciting!"

None of the five Holiday offspring had believed their father when he'd told them that their family was descended from the ancient Celtic spirits of the seasons. It was a coincidence, they'd all figured, that each of them had been born on a holiday - whether a modern one, like Valentine, the middle brother, or an ancient one, like Summer, the older of the two girls who was born on midsummer's day. Sam had gotten both - Halloween, the modern holiday, and Samhain, the ancient festival. He still blessed his parents for calling him just Sam, even though they'd meant to name him Samhain.

“Alright, what is this extremely vital thing you need to tell us? — Forma Roman, curious, as he puts an arm around the shoulders of his better half. I gasp for air and hold it in my lungs until the words begin to eAngelger from my mouth, recounting the pecuAmyr dream I had earlier today that I haven't had a chance to escape from my head, which is why I barely focused on any of my classes. “Did you see a merry turn?” Lara asks me when I get to that part, butting in and checking me out with a stitched brow and an anarchy brow. “Besides, individuals vanish in waves of green smoke,” I wake up, deciding to get to the point one last time and spare myself the irrelevant niceties. "Do you ever have

“It’s snowing like crazy over here. The streets are empty, everything’s white. Can’t wait till you and Mom arrive.” “Well, it’s no different here,” Tessa said, managing a small laugh. “We’ve got maybe three weeks until Christmas. The whole city’s lit up already.” “Our first Christmas together,” Roman said softly. “Real tree, stockings, the fire going… You in one of those ridiculous holiday sweaters you pretend to hate.” “I do hate them,” she lied, smiling despite herself. “Liar.” She could hear his grin. “I’m going to buy you the ugliest one I can find. You’ll wear it and love it.”

Amanda added while smiling, making my cheeks flush. “Auntie Amanda’s right,” Donna chimed in. “We want to see little Elle and little Navid already.” “So we decided to give you those tickets. And you've got nothing to worry about. Everything’s arranged. All you have to do is enjoy yourselves. Enjoy each other’s company and, of course, make some babies! We even picked the perfect time. Since it’s winter in Japan, it is perfect for honeymooners,” Hany added excitedly. My cheeks burned even more.

“I love you, you know?” His hands caressed my waistline, teasing the robe. “I know Callie” I lifted a hand to his face, fondling my fingers over his stubble and the sharp line of his jaw, Roman leaned into my touch like a man starved. “Let's leave this place” he requested into my hand, “Let's go on a trip. Somewhere far away. Just you and me.” A beautiful smile curled on his lips. It brightened his eyes. “No worries. No work. No distractions...” his brief moment of hesitation made my heart beat double

My heart already felt too full, almost unable to contain the emotions swirling inside me. When he picked up his phone, curiosity filled my mind. I watched him dial a number, wondering what he was planning. "Hello, Signor," a husky voice answered from the other end. "Schedule a flight to Sicily for this afternoon," Roman said calmly. "Yes, Signor," the man replied before ending the call. I stared at Roman, my thoughts racing. Was it what I thought it was? “That’s your gift,” he said. I continued staring at him, barely breathing. “You’re going home for Christmas.”

Roman said, shoving his hands into his pockets. Fabiano grinned. “It’s called brotherhood, Bella. We insult each other, we drink, and occasionally, we save each other’s asses.” Roman’s mouth twitched despite himself. “You’ve never saved mine.” “Ah, but I have,” Fabiano countered with mock seriousness. “Milan, 2019. That scandal with the heiress and the champagne fountain where you were caught with your…” Roman’s voice dropped an octave. “Finish that story, and I swear…”

“She’s a lot more experienced than you.” “Back to you, Selene," Roman huffs, sporting a warm smile. “You are supposed to be on your honeymoon right now, but you're stuck here.” “I don’t mind, Roman.” This is all fake anyway. “I will make it up to you. Rain is representing the Manchester group in an important merger, so I can’t let him take a leave for now. As soon as it’s over, you can go on a honeymoon.” I lean forward. “Are you talking about the Helios Merger?”
