FIXING THINGS “Mom she won’t talk to me, I don’t know what to do.” Roman sighed, pacing the length of Sierra’s kitchen. “What did you do?” His mother asked, he could picture her with her hands on her hips, staring at him knowingly. “We bumped into Cara yesterday. Let’s just say I didn’t handle the situation well.” He cringed at his own words and his mother sighed. “I knew that girl was bad news the day I met her,” Karisa grumbled.

Roman continued laughing while his mother struggled to press his lip with tissue to arrest bleeding. "Get out of my office!" Kaleb's voice was so deep and commanding, his nostrils flaring as his gaze completely changed. It was a family drama, one that had been waiting to happen. "Oh, I am leaving, and then I will email a gift to you. I am sure you will absolutely love it." My mom was humming in the kitchen, fussing with a bouquet of flowers. Roman stood beside her, pouring coffee into mugs. I’ll just check on Alan at the shop.” When I heard the door shut, my eyes focused on Roman as I took a seat. “Did I hear mom right? You brought a platter for her?” Roman hummed, taking the empty plate in front of me, serving me a healthy amount of the pasta in question. “I’m courting your mom.” My eyes narrowed, biting my lip. “My mom? You don’t like me anymore?”

“Will you buy me some cream cake?” Tally smirks, “I will, however, you should say that I’m beautiful too.” She said, she still can’t move on to what happened earlier. “Err-, I think you are beautiful too but not like my mom.” Clyde hesitantly replies to her, making Tally scoff. “Tsk, still keeping your loyalty to your mom.
