My Husband's Betrayal

My Husband's Betrayal

I suspected four of her coworkers, but I didn’t have any evidence to prove they were the perpetrators. That night, after finishing all my work, a feeling of loneliness suddenly came over me again. I didn’t feel like going home. The entire room felt empty. Alice and Mom were on a trip abroad. To be honest, ever since the problems in my marriage started, I have felt that my life is empty. My love for Lisa was unrequited. It felt as if I was the one who kept giving her my love, while she did not give me hers. Maybe this is what they call unrequited love. If I could turn back time, I wouldn’t want to have fallen in love with Lisa. I wish I could meet another woman and start a happy family with h

Taking Back an Unrequited Love

Taking Back an Unrequited Love

His fingers toyed with the lingerie, reminding me of our supposedly unforgettable past. Still, if we were to look at the situation carefully, wouldn't it be Dominic who was jealous? Wasn't he the one clutching at the past, even deliberately traveling to Northbrook? I folded my arms but secretly brushed my foot against Maxwell's calf. A powerful desire for revenge suddenly surged within me. With his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and striking long legs, Maxwell possessed a dangerous, almost predatory beauty in his eyes. That made me question—what could possibly make him less than Dominic?

STEP CLOSER, MY STEP BROTHER

STEP CLOSER, MY STEP BROTHER

My throat burned, but I refused to look away. “Did you love her?” I asked. He flinched. But it wasn’t a yes. Or a no. I stepped closer stupid, desperate. He smelled like leather, and smoke, and every mistake I’d ever made. His voice dropped lower, so soft only I could hear it. “She was a mistake. And she doesn’t get to come back and ruin what I still want.” My heart stuttered. “What do you still want?” Roman stared at me for a long, breathless second.

Romance Of Betrayal

Romance Of Betrayal

As if he were rediscovering me pulse by pulse. I sank into the kiss, my fingers digging into his shirt as if he might vanish if I let him go. The kiss grew deeper, but it wasn’t urgent. It was aching, filled with all the things we’d never said. With all the years of regret. With all the years of love that never went away. When we broke apart, we were still close, breathing each other in. “You still feel the same,” I whispered. “So do you,” he said. He traced his thumb along my cheek, wiping away a tear I hadn’t even known was falling. The gentleness of the gesture was my undoing.

A Promise Unfulfilled, a Lover Unreturned

A Promise Unfulfilled, a Lover Unreturned

As it turned out, the whole thing was a lie from the very beginning. Clara stiffened, still putting up a final struggle. "I stayed by your side and encouraged you throughout your four years of college. Doesn't that count as emotional support?" She shifted tactics, attempting to play on my emotions to get what she wanted. "Regardless of the money, we've been husband and wife for ten years. Isn't that bond enough for you to help me just this once? "Have you forgotten how much you used to love me? I promise not to hold your past infidelity against you anymore if you'll just forgive me this time. Let's just put it all behind us and go back to the way things were, okay?"

Forbidden Love Stories

Forbidden Love Stories

The most painful thing in the world is probably loving someone who doesn’t feel the same way. Unrequited love is painful yet blissful at the same time. Painful because it’s heartbreak without all the beginning and the middle. Only the end. Blissful because it’s without all the drama.

Teach Me How To Love

Teach Me How To Love

"One-Sided Love was also called Unrequited Love. Per se that someone you had been liking since you are a child or someone that has been bugging into your mind every day and you can't help the butterflies in your stomach to go wild, that's when you knew that it was an unrequited love. When you confessed and that person didn't even have the same feeling as you, uh, it hurts," Justin held his chest as the students laughed out loud at his joke. He also joined them as he scribbled down something on the blackboard and underlined it.

Lickin
Awesome nd quite touching. Starting from the first chapter it builds up the curiosity like... "Hmm.. what's going on? what father did? Why these kids are discussing about him?" And with these questions you start digging deeper in the book. (Sorry Author will kill me if I spoil further.)

This is soooo great! I love the concept of the story on how Justin will meet Marian who will change his entire life and teach him how to love. I also love how the writer made the hero have a disability( discalculia) which made his character more effective ❤❤❤

Lie To Me Alpha

I followed them, laughing. “Well, dear, I hate to burst your bubble but your hunk isn’t here, and I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t spring the dough to buy you an underwear, so shut your trap,” she said as she began to sort through the racks of colorful matching bras and knickers. Cora was the queen of comebacks. Gia shoved her away. “Oh, gosh, I had no idea that underwear has replaced flowers as the ultimate offering for true love. Has Jem been sending you some?”

The grammar make it hard to read. The author writes in past and present tense in the same sentence quite frequently. It needs a good edit, but the story is amazing. Characters are well developed and I'm intrigued to see what happens next

Only a child who wouldn't understand English don't follow through the plot of the story. People keep calling out the author's grammar and spelling on here but there are worst books than this one and yet they don't call out those authors. I understand the book very well and the English wasn't bad.
