“Why is it so dark? Please, turn on the lights, Anth.” I hesitated before pressing the soft buttons of the light switch and then the room brightened up. I heard her gasp first before my eyes took in the rose petals and unlit candles on the floor and on various pieces of furniture in the living room. My eyes scanned the room and spotted more rose petals, even the ones leading to the bedroom. The romantic setting of the place made my nervousness spike higher than before. “Did you do this?” I pushed every ounce of nervousness from my body and approached her then wrapped my arms around her shoulder. I placed my face against hers then kissed her cheek, feeling the softness of her skin and inhalin

I’ve discovered that I get into those fantasy stories where one person knows who his or her soul mate is upon meeting them, or even before that, as what happened in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, A Kinda Fairy Tale series by Cassandra Gannon, and many of the shifter books by Eve Langlais that I have loved so much. So that’s where I came up with the Love Mark idea.

Arash asked Zaya in return. "Do you know about the author of this novel?" Zaya asked again. "Oh ...!" Arash clapped his hands and walked back towards the table where Zaya was sitting, smiling proudly at her. She blushed, embarrassed for not thinking properly. “I mean for couples in love. I did not mean anything about us, okay?” she added hastily. “As you say.”

She didn’t like the way her thoughts were going, but they wouldn’t stop. Let’s face it, it’s got all the classic ingredients of a holiday fling. Exotic setting, two adults who fancy each other, and opportunity. And what happens to holiday romances once you get on the plane ? The knock at the door sounded like bombs dropping. ‘Who is it?’ ‘Guy.’ She walked on eggshells to the door. He was all fresh, showered and smelling of shaving things. Chapter 17 Roman’s POV I had been kissed a thousand times before. Women with painted lips and hungry eyes had thrown themselves at me as if kissing me was a crown they could wear. India’s lips were soft, trembling, hesitant at first like a secret begging to be kept, then bold enough to make the world tilt on its axis. I stood there stunned. My arms didn’t even move. My brain stalled as if someone had ripped the gears out of me.
