Mythological Creatures Griffin Novels & Stories

I said without hesitation. “Are there any more griffins in the sky?” asked the leader of the hadad, and Selene shook her head. “Let's hurry before a real massacre spreads. When a flock of griffins dies, hundreds appear in the air, as if the death of the first griffins finally awakens the others.” I believed the fairy. They had slept for many years, but they were among the first creatures to populate the world and had faced a variety of species that were now extinct. It was madness, complete madness.

Meanwhile, Derek, Marcus and Mr. Lancaster we’re headed deep in the forest to face the griffin. The griffin was said to be a fearsome creature, with razor-sharp talons, a beak that could tear through stone, and wings that could create gusts strong enough to uproot trees. Its mere presence threatened the delicate balance between humans and magical beings. Aware of the danger this creature posed, Marcus, Derek, and Mr. Lancaster decided to face the griffin head-on.

Terrick massage his forehead, he could feel the headache which is trying to find its way into his head. "Griffin," Dominic said looking at the creature which has the body of a lion, the tail of a snake, head and wings of a lion. It is popularly know as the grim reaper and the embodiment of death itself. "You will go to the packs in the South, I know you can handle them." The creature screech in an attempt to talk. "Chimera," he smiled at the creature which was like the griffin, it is a monstrous beast which is part lion, part goat and a snake demon.

Aranjo jumped back and fell down, Aranjo's eyes widened to see the creature in front of her. "Please don't eat me! I don't have much meat and if you eat me I'm sure you'll choke!" Aranjo said while continuing to retreat backward. Aranjo stared straight at the creature, she had read a scroll about such a creature before her. A rarely seen majestic spiritual beast, it is said that each age has only one Griffin, and when they die, they turn to ashes. The next Griffin will be born from the ashes of the previous Griffin, they will simply die and be born in the forest of fog.

"Griffiths are only a myth! They don't exist! Stop being ridiculous!" My curiosity grew and I turned to Luis. "What's a Griffith?" Luis took a deep breath before speaking. "It's a mythical creature with large wings, a body of a lion, and the hooves of a horse. It's said to be the most powerful creature in existence, but no one has ever seen it."

A shadow streaked across the sky, moving at blinding speed before swooping down toward him. The ghost-winged griffin, a martial nirvana-tier demonic monster, lunged with its fangs bared. It was aiming straight for Chase's throat! Chase raised his spear in defense. But the griffin's jaws clamped down, and his spear snapped in half instantly!

Growing more curious, I began to move forward in an attempt to peek inside, only to run into Tristan, who was coming out with a set of reigns in his hand. Stopping in place, I looked on with wide eyes as a large beast with the head and upper body of an eagle and the lower body of a lion emerged from within. "This..." I stammered, lifting a hand to my mouth in awe. "Griffins!" "That's right." Tristan beamed, beginning to make his way towards me. "Beautiful, isn't it?" "I almost forgot that they existed here!" As I took in the beast, flashes of my past experience with them began to appear. Having ridden with Vladimier and being held tightly in his arms as he guided the creature through the air

He was technically still a possible mate, so maybe him finding me wasn’t the worst thing. “Darius Timms. And you are?” “Hazel Ellis.” I covered the distance between us, leaning toward him so our bodies nearly touched. His eyes shifted as he didn’t back down from the challenge. “What are you, Darius?” “Griffin.” His grin grew. A griffin, like a mystical creature? Lion body, eagle head… something like that? “Can you fly?” I checked, my inner daredevil surfacing. There was a reason I rode a motorcycle, and it wasn’t for the safety.

Szan said. “Wait, don’t Leopard Titans eat Fiery Lynxes?” Oz questioned. “They can try to. The Griffons protect us and we protect them in return.” “How exactly do you protect them?” Posy asked. “Our rituals and ceremonies. We pray for their strength and success and we let them reside safely in our land.” Szan said proudly. “Griffons are one of the most powerful creatures in all of Uquix. From the feathers to their talons, Griffons are useful for many things.”

Since they were already away from the group, Zedekiel led Prince Ron deeper into the forest until they reached a clearing where a magnificent griffin awaited them. The creature was a breathtaking sight, with the body of a lion and the head and wings of a mighty eagle. Its feathers shimmered with shades of gold and silver, and its sharp, intelligent eyes glowed with an inner light. The griffin let out a powerful screech, stretching its wings wide, the tips brushing the treetops.
