The CEO's Little Secret

The CEO's Little Secret

It made sense that the main couple hadn’t ended up happily together. “It did seem like the main leads’ romance was doomed to failure,” he replied. “Do all Damien Black books end like this?” Darien turned to look at him with his full attention. “I think it’s about half and half…” he answered hesitantly. “It seems to depend on how the author was feeling when he wrote the endings.” Zach wasn’t sure if he wanted to read another gay focused story with an unhappy ending. He was always an optimist so it was disheartening to read about people of the same sexuality as him ending up alone or in unhappy straight marriages.

Accidentally Kidnapping The Don

Accidentally Kidnapping The Don

I smile sweetly at him. His eyes widen. “How is that romance?” “Well, becuase she falls in love with the new guy, and he loves her. Oh, and be warned, there’s two endings. Happy and sad. Decide the characters fate yourself.” I wink and he sighs. I watch as he opens the book ‘Tainted heat’ By Billiejo Priestley, and begins to read. It’s almost low level smut. I didn’t want to give him something where it goes too indepth, I can save that for next time.

loving both books. but in the second book, the chapter Her Weirdness and A Suprise are the same and there's a chapter missing. I'm guessing A Suprise is the chapter that's a duplicate and the proper chapter is the missing one as you miss what keeley tells her. can this be made right please

Wolf's Desire

Wolf's Desire

“A tragic one.” “All the memorable ones are. Orpheus and Eurydice. Romeo and Juliet. Tristan and Isolde,” he listed. “They all die tragically at the end, or they may as well when they lose the love of their life. Sentient beings can’t experience love and obsession so complete without tragedy and loss. When you love someone, heartbreak is inevitable.” Lily didn’t subscribe to that idea. She believed in romance, in happily ever afters. She might not have experienced her own yet, but she had to believe there was a happily ever after somewhere out there, waiting for her. Otherwise, Anthony

Cursed With Three Mates

Cursed With Three Mates

“It is just a novel.” “It. Is. Just. A. Novel.” He picked a fluffy romance book and thrust it into my hands forcefully. “But, it can affect your mood. So, you are allowed to read only those stories that make you happy.” I bit my lower lip as I browsed through the pages of the book; briefly glancing at the ending. What Kain didn’t understand was that such happy endings hurt more than the tragic ones. They filled me with a longing I knew could never be fulfilled. They reminded me of everything that I could never have.

One Year with the Mafia Boss

One Year with the Mafia Boss

Even so, the whole process feels like a battle, and I am already exhausted by the time I have the books in my hands. I still read romantic novels. There is something comforting about them, even if some of the stories hit a little too close to home. Some of the plots are eerily similar to my own life, while others are pure escapism—beautiful, heartwarming tales from start to finish. Sure, the characters face hardships and tribulations, but what always stands out to me is the love and trust between the couples. It is the kind of love that feels unshakable, the kind I used to dream about. Now, I am not so sure if that kind of love exists for me anymore.

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

Why was nothing make sense? Was he the Villain, or was he something else? Why was the end felt incredibly... real? Unexpected Love

Unexpected Love

I tell him, covering his mouth with one of my hands, "don't tell me the ending, I didn't read the whole book so that you come to spoil the ending with a spoiler." "Okay, you're right, sorry." He sits to the side and stares at me while I finish reading. "You're right," I say closing the book. - In what? He asks, puzzled. "I didn't like the ending," I say, pouting and lean back in my chair, "why did the protagonist have to die?" "Actually, it seemed like a good ending to me." - Because? I turn to see him. —Because it is more realistic, it is not based on the typical and they lived happily ever after, in real life not everything turns out to be rosy, there are also tragedies, and that you rarel

Closeted Desires

Closeted Desires

She can always delay the marriage but she most certainly won't make it from not happening. “You don't have to, right? I mean… you can always elope with Sam and move to another state. That'd be romantic.” She gasped excitedly, “I think I just discovered the ending of the novel. The female lead elopes with her forbidden lover and then they live happily ever after!” Trudy got to her feet, “Ugh! I hate writers!”

A Dark Romance

A Dark Romance

[Francis Davis, 1990-2023] No final words of wisdom and no heartfelt farewells. Just the dates marking the beginning and end of their stories, with a tiny dash in between to represent everything in between. That tiny dash was their whole world. They fell hard for each other, fought fiercely, and in the end, they went down together.

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

But if things went wrong—and knowing my luck, something would—I didn’t want to pull them into the trouble that would follow. My gaze fell on the trashy romance novel sitting on the front seat. It was objectively terrible; bad grammar, weak plotting, and things happened far too easily for the heroine. I’d devoured it in a single night. It was trash, but it was delicious trash. The heroine had auctioned off her virginity to the mafia to pay for her father’s debts and ended up being ‘oversold’ to three brooding Alphas all vying for her attention and favors.
