Tempest in Paradise

Tempest in Paradise

Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Ericka explains, "We will be the loser and all our ambitions for a better future would just go in vain if we always look for other people's flaws and allow them to depress us," says Ericka. Ericka adds, “In the epistle of Paul to the Roman chapter 12 starting from verse 12,” Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Ericka goes further,” Let’s go down to verse 16,” live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.”

Do not eat with such people.'

 The Better Place

The Better Place

What's happened had happened. Though it hurts, they just have to accept the fact that their beloved was no more... They had to affect the fact that, no matter the number of tears they shed... She'll never come back... " The word of the Lord says in, the book of Matthew Chapter 5 verse 4. * Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. * " The priest's words rang in their ears... This didn't comfort them but made them cry harder... " The book of 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17, says * Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Choosing paths

Choosing paths

Hear me and hear my voice, for flesh will remain flesh and for the heart will know where to follow, trust in the Lord and he will guide you 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Until you're washed, until you're cleansed, until you accept Jesus as your one and on

After Divorce, I became the CEO of my Ex-Husband's Company

“Then let me be the one to fight now. Let me show you.” She didn’t pull away. Not immediately. “I don’t know if I can trust you again,” she whispered. “Then don’t. Not yet. But let me earn it back.” She turned toward the crib and watched the baby sleep peacefully. “He deserves parents who don’t resent each other.” “We don’t resent each other,” Roman said. “We just forgot how to talk.” Jenner finally looked at him—really looked. “And you think one confession changes that?” “No,” Roman replied. “But it’s a start.”

Just for two weeks

Just for two weeks

Jimmy couldn't tear his eyes from the glowing purple text scrawled across the parquet floor. Marquis Esquibel's finial communication seemed as unlikely a departing message as any Jim could imagine. The message read: 14-4-2-1-1-10-6-24 O, Draconian devil Oh, lame saint! Although Jimmy had not the slightest idea what it meant, he did understand Romano's instinct that the pentacle had something to do with the devil worship. O, Draconian devil!

Accidental Brother

Mercy complained and I stuck my tongue out to annoy her. "Two?" Devil said then looked at me, I already had my eyes on him "FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. Ephesian 5:31." he said with his devilish grin and I gasped. "Did you just quote the scripture?" I asked the obvious showing how surprised I was and he just scoffed.

When You Least Expect It

When You Least Expect It

Mom said as she drew Ola into a gentle hug. I walked over to the corner of the room where a little shelf was placed, I pulled out the big, black familiar book. It was my dad's most cherished belonging, his Bible. I opened to his favourite verse, walked over to my mom and handed it to her. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8: "So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord."

I don't know about anyone but i just love the conversations in this book. It's very realistic, and relatable, and the way the friendship between those four friends were portrayed was marvellous. I could see myself reading more and more of this book. Kudos Author.

This is really interesting! I love the portrayal of the MC as most young guys are portrayed as sexual creatures or narcissistic ones. And I love the relationship with his sister, it's so real and natural. Nice work!

Frequently Asked Questions

The passage from Romans 2:1-4 shines a light on several significant themes that resonate deeply with many of us. One of the primary themes is judgment and hypocrisy. It opens with a powerful reminder that judging others often reveals our own faults. We're all imperfect, and pointing fingers at someone else might just distract from our own shortcomings. This is a pivotal notion, especially in today’s fast-paced world where it’s so easy to criticize from behind a screen.

Additionally, another compelling theme is God’s kindness and patience. These verses illustrate that divine grace is present even as we explore our failings. The message here is that instead of simply feeling guilty or condemned, we should reflect on how God extends mercy and a chance for repentance to everyone, including ourselves. It’s a gentle reminder to take a step back and consider the bigger picture of compassion and growth rather than fixation on guilt.

Finally, the call for self-reflection cannot be overstated. These verses challenge us to look inward instead of outward. It invites a more profound examination of our hearts and the motivations behind our actions, pushing us into a space of honesty and humility that can lead to genuine transformation. Each of these themes presents a beautiful opportunity for growth and connection, reminding us to embody kindness, understanding, and accountability, not just for others but for ourselves as well.
