Roomies Novels & Stories

We are practically living together. For me, it is to save some penny because I’m on my rocks right now, which I'm still waiting ‘til next week for my allowance from the scholarship. I’m lucky enough to be chosen to the grant, they give a good keeps. And for him, he got some monster in his house to stay away from. I offered him to stay with me, but we have to split the payment. Fortunately, he agreed to stay on a one queen sized bed, tiny dinky kitchen, clean bathroom and my aesthetic living room. P*******t definitely knows it’s assignment.

I tell him and we laugh as we continue walking, Aaron pointing out important places to me. Liv says we have another roomies named Avery, I wonder if we'll get along. I hope we do, Aaron says he can't wait to introduce me to his new friends. When we reached my beautiful dorm room, we were alone and we successful christened the room with lots and lots and lots of kisses.

I put it in the oven, leave it there and go to find something to watch. I sit with my legs folded on the couch, because if I lie down, I will surely go to sleep. I press the N*****x button on the TV remote and scroll the screen until I find something that interests me. That is, nothing, because I am too boring to be interested in a movie or series easily. My cell phone rings, notifying me that a message has just arrived on w******p. I tap on the notification and it goes straight to my friends' group. Alexia: Hey cats! Let's get busy?

Chapter 72 Sleepover and a Stroll After my baby shower, the twins hosted an epic sleepover, transforming our living room into a gamer's paradise. Their cousins Sarah, Storm, and Eric, joined Oliver, and Abigail all gathered together, each with their high-tech gaming chairs positioned in front of the massive widescreen TV/monitor. The room was aglow with the soft hum of consoles, and the excitement of friendly competition. The air was electric with anticipation as they embarked on an all-night gaming marathon, fueled by snacks, drinks, and their shared passion for adventure.

Roommate needed: Male or female, doesn’t smoke, tidy, can cook tasty meals is a plus, minds their business – I scoffed at the roommate ad, is he looking for a roommate or does he want a maid? I folded the paper into my bag as I walked into the bank to clear out all the money from me and Marty’s joint account, ten thousand dollars, it was nothing much but it was enough to get me started on a new life.

I cleared my throat and answered, “I will be the second occupant of this room.” “So, we will be roommates?” She said, more like a scream. “Yes. Hi, roomie.”

“Got it.“ I moved inside quickly. Inside, I found three ladies, lounging on their beds. “Hello.“ I waved at them. Two of the girls greeted me with instant smiles, showed me to my bed and even offered me a bottle of water. One had curly hair and a brown skin glowing under the sunlight —she looked more like an African. While the other was petite, with straight black hair and glasses, hugging a textbook to her chest —a typical bookworm. "You're our new roommate!" The curly—haired beamed. "I'm Mia, accounting major." "I'm Quinn," the girl with glasses said with a shy smile. "Healing and Herbalife major." "I'm Maya," I said quietly. "Healing and Herbalife major too."

"They are cookies. My mom made them. She always packs too much." "Why?" "Why cookies or why am I being nice?" He shrugged. "Cookies because they're good. Nice because you look like you need a friend." I took the bag. "Thanks." "We're ordering pizza later. You in?" "Maybe." "Cool. Fair warning, I know Luca's kind of an asshole but he's not completely terrible. And I'm told I'm delightful company." He walked backwards toward his room. "Oh, and the fourth roommate shows up tomorrow. Theo. He’s a vampire and a quiet guy, keeps to himself."

Clutching her phone, she burst into tears and ran into the bathroom. From outside, I could vaguely hear her making a complaint call. Her voice was nothing like usual—pinched and cloying, unpleasant to listen to. Grinding her teeth, Joey dropped back into her chair. The other roommate, Carmen Radler, asked worriedly, "She isn't really dating Nick, is she? We really can't afford to offend someone like him." Joey snorted. "So what if she is? We're in the right—what's there to be afraid of? Does he really think he can bend the law? We got into this university on our own merit!"

Dominating the room was a large, plush couch that curved in the shape of a C, providing ample seating for multiple guests. Additionally, there was a sturdy poker table ready for card enthusiasts, and several arcade machines lined the walls, offering a nostalgic burst of fun. Beyond the game room, the house featured a functional laundry room, a well-equipped home gym for workouts, a luxurious steam room for relaxation, and a quiet library filled with shelves of books from floor to ceiling.
