“Yes.” “What’s your name?” Theo asked again, voice neutral. “You must’ve forgotten it,” Rory said with a soft giggle. “Back when I saved you, you didn’t ask for my name.” Theo’s expression didn’t change, but inside, something itched. The girl who saved him didn’t flirt. She hadn’t even spoken a word. “I asked you your name,” he repeated—flat, cold. “Rory. Rory Brown. The eldest.” Her voice was soft now, rehearsed.

Her eyes hard, accusing and hurt, she looked at Rory with- with something that twisted Rory's gut. Rory's palm was slick with sweat and she rubbed it against her pants. She blinked, refusing to give in and cry. Some of the girls walking past her were whispering and pointing at her and she knew they had seen what she had done to Julie. Her heart twisted in unsaid emotions. She looked away from them and her eyes connected with the violet eyes. The same damn eyes. The eyes were worried and he looked sad as he watched her from the distance. But now, Rory was sure this wasn't her imagination. He was real. She wasn't hallucinating.

Not after watching the Moon Goddess stitch him to Nora while I stood there smiling like I wasn’t cracking down the middle. A sharp knock snapped me out of it. “Go away,” I called, sharper than I meant. The door opened anyway—because apparently consent and boundaries weren’t in the Caine dictionary. Rory strolled in, smirk already in place, a tray balanced in his hands like this was some lazy Sunday brunch instead of my personal crisis. Freshly showered, black slacks hanging easy on his hips, dark green Henley clinging to lean muscle. He wore charm the way Callum wore command—effortless, dangerous.

He stretched his hand towards Rory for a shake. "I'm Rory John Gate." "Gate?" He repeated like he didn't hear it the first time. Rory nodded a little. "My dad and your dad are friends, you know? Anyway, nice to meet you." . Present-day Taylor's POV. When I arrived home I fall on the bed, wanting to take a little time to rest before going to meet Rory. A part of me wants to ask Rory over and let him know what my feelings for him are, but I need to figure out who Ginger is and if she still means a lot to him.

It seems like his hatred of Thalia is because of his father’s influence. Rory and Thalia have been as thick as thieves. Rory showed her gifted ability, which she was born with, which are her nails. Those things can scratch through metal when she extends them. When they are not extended, they are round and non-lethal. Thalia thought it was so cool that she started throwing fruit in the air for Rory to slice them and they both laughed at the fruit salad that ended up being on the outdoor tables near the smokers.

Thorne’s P.O.V I snapped my fingers and a rush of liquid was emptied on Rory or whatever his real name was. He jerked awake immediately, gasping as he was drenched by the liquid. His eyes turned red immediately, then all of a sudden, he froze as fear replaced the rage in his eyes. His lower lip wobbled. “W-What is this? This…this…this…isn't water…” He stammered. Folding my hands behind me, my lips lifted in a smirk as I bobbed my head. “Yes, it isn't water…” I leaned forward, taking the full weight of his gaze. “It’s fuel”

He was a little embarrassed by the compliment and scratched his blonde, bushy hair. “I didn't think much of it at the time, I just thought that I couldn't be a man and watch two guys hurt a girl." Aurora laughed, "What's your name?" “My name is Mael, but my birth name is Julio, what's your name?" Aurora ruffled a wave of curly hair: "Aurora. My friends call me Rory.” “Rory, where do you live? Let me take you back." “Rory? You’re not my friend.”She teased.

Rory felt a flutter in her chest as he extended a manicured hand, his piercing blue eyes locking onto hers. As they discussed the charity gala, Rory found herself drawn to Julian's charisma and confidence. He was enigmatic, yet disarmingly charming. She couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay beneath his polished exterior. The night of the charity gala arrived, and Rory's team had transformed the venue into a fairytale-like setting. As Julian took the stage to deliver his keynote speech, Rory felt an inexplicable sense of pride. Their eyes met across the crowded room, and for a fleeting moment, Rory thought she saw something flicker in Julian's gaze – something that looked almost like... a

I asked Xavier if he liked sports, then asked Poppy what her hobbies were, and after a while the tension relaxed. “Um, Gamma Rory, why do your nails look like that?” Poppy asked. Rory smiled, “Because I was born awesome. These things can cut through fruit like a knife. Wanna see?” Xavier and Poppy’s eyes lit up, and they both nodded. She grabbed the apple from Poppy’s plate, threw it in the air, and sliced it with her hand. “COOL!” They both said. Raul walked in and chuckled, “Showing off again, Rory?”

Rory was shouting even as she glowered, "Forget not giving me directions—he's treating me with such rudeness! Does he not know who I am?" "What?" "What's going on here?' Rory's outburst drew a lot of attention, and even the rich and powerful were shocked when they saw her. After all, she was Draconia's top singer with legions of fans. It just so happened that Samus, one of the rich kids present, was her diehard fan.
