I queried. Rory shook her head quickly. “I… I… I just took it.” I tightened my grip. “Answer me and don't even think about lying to me!” Rory’s lips trembled. “I seduced him… and I used something… I had to—” My eyes darkened as I interrupted her, “So… you're now a willing slut to others too? Look at that, Draven, our little slut has grown wings she deserves to be punished and her wings clipped!”1

He chuckles, "Oh, but you are. “How? How come I'm being forced into this? "The only person Rory cares about is you. Let me give you a brief description of Rory: he lacks fear. He will pass away contently because he never feared that man. The only way to win over a guy like that is by appealing to his passions; before his parents passed away, it was you. He stares at the house as he speaks, so I click the buttons. I have a brief window of time to make the call. He turns back to stare at me as I swipe the red bar as soon as it appears and tuck my hand behind my back.

Rory squealed, her voice sounding high pitched and happy. "Hi, Rory," Rhea said smiling at Rory's enthusiasm. "So you just forgot me?" Rory asked in her overdramatic fashion. "No, it just that I have been a little busy, but right now I am bored," Rhea cried. "There is no way I can let my pregnant best friend be bored, Rory to the rescue, I will be there in a few," Rory said and Rhea squealed, it had been a while since she had seen her friend and she needed to fill her in on all that had been happening in her life.

Even though I knew the moon goddess couldn't make a mistake. Rory smiled bitterly. "Maybe you're right." Compared to me, it seemed like Rory was very disappointed.

Rory cried hard and fell to the ground, weeping in a heap by my feet. I was startled and tried to get him to leave. However, he hugged my legs and refused to let go of me. I thought that he must have gone crazy in the head, so I exclaimed, "If you don't leave now, I'm calling the police!" Rory then yelled at me, "What else do you want me to do? I've already been punished enough! Must I die before you're finally happy with the outcome?"

"You were never good at pretending to be unconscious." The silence lasted another few seconds. Then one eye opened. I stared directly back at her. The second eye opened. A moment later she groaned dramatically. "That usually works." Despite everything, I laughed. Rory looked very embarrassed. She immediately looked away. "I didn't want to see you." The honesty caught me off guard. My smile faded. "Why?" Her fingers tightened around the blanket. "I don't know." She kept staring at the wall. The guilt radiating from her expression was almost painful to watch.

It was then I noticed the deep gash on his cheek, it looked like a fresh wound. Rory's black hair was dishevelled, the streaks on the sides of his head seemed whiter than I remembered. His deep eyes were lifeless as they stared into Theo. "It's been a while Theo Warren," Rory chuckled "How have you been?" "Drop the small talk," Theo grunted "Give me Gracie back," Rory laughed this time, a deep husk from the tone of his voice "She isn't here, not anymore," he paused as he stepped forward. His tall lean figure moved toward us. The gash on his face began to seep with blood every so slowly.

Rory looked a little bit disoriented for about one second but then those large emerald eyes of hers settled on me and turned warm. “Hi.” She greeted shyly. Then she yawned slightly, her mouth covered with her hand. “Excuse me.” She said softly. She sounded perfect and looked even more perfect. “You are so perfect!” The words escaped my lips before I could even stop myself and Rory who had been trying to stretch her limbs under the sheets now turned to me with a confused look on her face. “You are perfect.” I repeated pulling her towards me. She broke in to a soft giggle and then her shy gaze managed to hold mine. “Be honest with me,” she began. “Are you just saying that because we are leavin

Tinsley asked with a teasing smile. Rory fell silent for a while and Tinsley almost thought that she wasn't on the phone anymore. "Breakup." Rory finally spilled with a slightly trembling voice. She looked up to stop the tears from trickling down her cheeks. Tinsley's eyes widened in disbelief. "Break up? No way, did he cheat on you? He doesn't look like someone who can." Rory calmly replied. "He didn't." Tinsley was stunned. "Huh? If he didn't, why did you break up then?" She asked.

“I’m not deaf, Trent.” “Mr. Trent,” the scarred one said aggressively, stepping toward him. Mr. Trent held up his hand, stopping his goon. To Rory he said, “Question her.” Rory sent a cold look her way. “Question is all I’ll do. I’m getting bloody sick of your games, Mr. Trent.” “Strive to remember what happens when you fail me,” Mr. Trent said coldly, “and remember who gets hurt.” His lip curled, but Rory turned to Rain. Softening a little, he asked gently, “What’s your name, love?”
