Rory’s POV “Wait!” came a voice behind me that I didn’t recognize. I turned and saw a man dressed in a sharp suit doing his best to keep up with me. I slowed down and looked at him. “Who are you? What do you want?” I asked, holding up my small can of mace. The man held his hands up in surrender. “Hold up, my name is Ben. I work for Mr. McFarlan as a bodyguard. He sent me to protect you, something about a school stalker. You are Ms. Rory Hill, aren’t you?” he asked.

With a giant scowl on his face, he gulped it down, so he wouldn't embarrass himself and Ronan who had gained the attention of people. Ronan then switched to singing Apologize by Timbaland and One republic, something which erupted screams from the crowd once more. While singing tucked he tucked his hair behind his ear, turned to wink at Ronan, then added force to the strings. Rory cried out dramatically and tried to hug Tinsley but before she could Jarek used his hand to stop her. Rory's lips twitched in disbelief. She was a girl, it couldn't be that Jarek was jealous of her hugging Tinsley. "Jarek, Rory is my friend." Tinsley couldn't help but remind him but that elicited a glare from him and it made her bite her lips. It was then I noticed the deep gash on his cheek, it looked like a fresh wound. Rory's black hair was dishevelled, the streaks on the sides of his head seemed whiter than I remembered. His deep eyes were lifeless as they stared into Theo. "It's been a while Theo Warren," Rory chuckled "How have you been?" "Drop the small talk," Theo grunted "Give me Gracie back," Rory laughed this time, a deep husk from the tone of his voice "She isn't here, not anymore," he paused as he stepped forward. His tall lean figure moved toward us. The gash on his face began to seep with blood every so slowly.

“Yes.” “What’s your name?” Theo asked again, voice neutral. “You must’ve forgotten it,” Rory said with a soft giggle. “Back when I saved you, you didn’t ask for my name.” Theo’s expression didn’t change, but inside, something itched. The girl who saved him didn’t flirt. She hadn’t even spoken a word. “I asked you your name,” he repeated—flat, cold. “Rory. Rory Brown. The eldest.” Her voice was soft now, rehearsed.

Rory stepped in, pulled Cleo behind him in one smooth move, putting himself between them. Protective. Possessive. Damian's gaze snapped to Rory—sharp, venomous. Then he saw Rory's hand at Cleo's waist. His pupils tightened. Jealousy and rage burned through whatever control he had left. "Rory Renaud." The name came out through clenched teeth, thick with contempt. "Let her go. You spoiled, trust-fund playboy—I'm warning you. Don't touch her. Or you'll regret it." Rory didn't bite. He let out a short laugh, head tilting, mockery clear in his eyes.

Rory was in a freansy as he tried to stand up and in his tirad spit all over Billy and Anders. "Rory, what did Finn do exactly?" Anders asked, as if he cared. Rory leaned over, looked to his right and left, before continuing his barrage of falsehoods, "TJ, that bastard, he got my sisterpregnant and I am not sure she was a willing participant, just saying. But what I know to be a fact is that he hid the money and drugs from his last job!" Rory was proud of the tale he spun and he just needed to sit back and watch as TJ gets hauled in and shipped back to Philladelphia. The old crew would take care of the punishment.
