Alexia said confiding in Rosaline. “I believe you should squash those thoughts. I feel that girl is something but can’t still put my fingers on it,” Rosaline said, her eyes lighting up as she remembered Anastasia’s fight with Princess the other day. “What do you mean?” Alexa asked curious now as she turned to look at Rosaline. “Well, the day she had a duel with Princess we could all see she was getting beaten up but……., that necklace, I believe there is something there,” Rosaline said her face giving off an expression of someone in deep thought.

Chapter Nine Rosaline's POV: I open the pot of steaming noodles and a smile crawls to my face. From where I stand, I can perceive the pepper. Perfect. Thunder rumbles outside and more spears fall on the roof making the night ever so surreal. I walk out of the kitchen to find a drenched Mr Sylvester walking in. Didn't he go out with his car? I give a little bow and walk to the couch where my laptop sits. The spice and the hot food is a little bit too much but that's how I like it.

Rosaline walked into my room after I had granted her permission. I wasn't hungry, but I just had coffee and a biscuit in the morning. It was weird, but there is no use forcing anything into my stomach. “I don't think I am hungry,” I replied. I hadn't even taken off my clothes, and my shoes were still on. I wouldn't say I was lazy. I didn't just feel the need to take it off. “Are you sure you're OK, sir?” She asked curiously. She is the second person to ask me that question.

"The Alpha would be visiting. He's to have dinner with us tonight." Silence filled the four walls of the greenhouse. We were all too spooked to speak and even more so to pretend we were even looking forward to it. The hours pass quickly with the other consorts having their experiments rated. Even Katya asked for her tea to be rated and with my help it was commendable worthy. And by the time Plimoth ordered us to discard of the remaining Wolfsbane petals we have, I sneakily hide one in my pocket. You never know when I’m going to need it.

Then, as if shaking off a thought, he blinked and looked away. “Let’s go,” he said quietly to Josh. And just like that, he walked past, but his reaction didn’t go unnoticed. The other secretaries turned toward me like a pack of vampires smelling blood. “Well, well,” Sandra said loudly after he left. “Looks like the boss finally noticed our little Rose.” Lissa laughed. “Please, he probably just thought she was the janitor.” My cheeks burned, I pretended to print out something, but my fingers were shaking too much.

"He still loves you Rosalina " Tristan answered "Love? Me?" Rosalina asked sarcastically and then laughed "You call this love?" Rosalina said pulling her t-shirt showing the scars on her neck and hands "Tell me you call this love!? Then tell, who the fucking hell treats the one they love this way?!" She said loudly

“Isn’t that--” “Yeah. We’re not sure.” he was quick to respond to Oswald who noticed too. “Jin, get a better look closer. She hasn’t seen your face yet.” “Why me?” Jin complained before frowning, putting his hands in his hoodie pockets before casually walking around until he was close enough that he could see Rojean’s face clearly and check out Lucas’ appearance before going back to Theo and Oswald. Lucas and Rojean were getting chocolates and Theo couldn’t help but think for a moment how Sei liked her chocolates as well. It was Sei, he thought but he still wasn’t so sure. He had no direction here to follow.

Frowning, he went to pull the door shut and it hit something, a thud sounding towards the bottom of the door. Chris lowered his gaze to the floor, and blinked in surprise, stuck between the door and the wall, was a little red rose in a tiny but elegant glass shaped like a crescent moon, the inside hardened with…resin? He picked it up, and saw the tiny thorns surrounding the rose inside. Blinking, he curled his fingers around the item and jogged lightly down the stairs, two at a time. __________________
