William whispered on her lips. “Don’t.” Rosaline was turning redder. But William knew how to coax his woman, “please, baby!” He said, piteously pouting as he kissed her slowly and sensually, making her toes curl. She gritted her teeth before helping him out of his clothes. Rosaline was a moaning mess when she finished undressing him. William passed her chocolate lava cake to her. She ate it, dripping it all over his torso. The next day when Rosaline woke up, it was already late afternoon.

I opened the door just a few inches and saw a small cardboard box sitting on the carpet with no name and no return address, so I pulled it inside and opened the lid while the others crowded around me to see what was inside. Resting on a bed of white tissue paper was a single rose made of delicate glass and the stem was broken in half so it looked dead and jagged, and I knew immediately that it was a message from Elena Romano because that rose was the symbol of the investment firm we had burned down in Berlin.

Schemed Evening "This is such a ridiculously terrible idea. He's not even going to show up." Rosie paced back and fourth in Aatalo's loft, shaking her head frantically. Aatalo walked to stand in front of her, placing his hands on her shoulders to stop her. "Rosie, my dear, look at me. Take a deep breath." Rosie listened, staring at him intently as she inhaled deeply. Aatalo nodded slowly. "You have to exhale too."

The room tilted, and yet I stayed rooted—watching my own happiness collapse. “C-Celine—” Adrian stammered, shoving Marielle off as though it made a difference. “How long?” My voice was a whisper, fragile and sharp all at once. “Wait, let me explain,” he begged, his hand reaching toward me. Marielle smirked faintly, her dress slipping from her shoulder. “Maybe you shouldn’t marry a man you can’t keep, sister.” The words sliced deeper than any blade. I laughed—a broken, bitter sound. “Explain? No. You already have.” My trembling fingers tugged off the engagement ring. The diamond that once blinded me now mocked me

“This is my fiancée, Rosaline. In fact, we were planning on going public tonight.” What the hell?!!

Alpha superior Eli walks in. “It has been so long since I last saw you here.” His voice thick and strong. “Can you please pass the garden trowel?” Rosaline unsurprised at his appearance. He hands it over to her. “Thank you.” Rosaline is transplanting from her nursery; her attention is totally wrapped in her plants. This annoys Alpha superior Eli, it was a trait few had. Rosaline could easily disregard her husband. He had not come to watch her garden. Still, he had to keep calm. She was not the kind of woman he could lose his temper at, that was often her aim he had realised after all those years together.

I shrugged, walking downstairs. The first person I saw as I reached downstairs was Rosaline. She was in the kitchen pouring herself a glass of wine. "That's your first thing in the morning, Rosaline?" I chuckled as I walked over to her, giving her a side hug which she returned, along with a kiss on my temple. "Just got a bad hunch for no reason," she sighed, "Forget it. Did you sleep well, honey?" "Absolutely. The croissant was amazing!" "I'm glad," she smiled, "Do you want some wine?"

Rosaline POV: I awoke blind folded, both of my wrists were chained, I had a collar around my neck that was also chained. I was standing up and I dropped my head, as I felt tears burning in my eyes. No Rosaline, don't cry, don't let them get that pleasure of seeing you cry. I thought to myself. I don't know what happened. I was in my cellar laying down in pain, the gash that was on my cheek was throbbing and didn't want to heal so I laid down to try and get some sleep. And then I heard my door open, and I saw one of the omega's and then everything went dark.

Roseline watched as she flung her heels away from her feet carelessly across the room. She raised her legs, placing them on top of the bed in a way, with her knees pointed upwards. Then, propping herself up with her elbow, she threw her head back and flexed her neck, a slow moan escaping her throat. Roseline listened, her eyes still glued to the scene that unfolded before her. "How many times would I tell you that she isn't my fianceé", Thomson replied from somewhere outside of her view, his voice a mix of tiredness and longing.
