Bernard's expression flickered. For the first time, something like pain crossed his face.
"You think I wanted to stay away, Victor?”
"I don't care what you wanted," Victor shot back. "I care what you did. And what you did was leave."
“That’s okay Victor,” Roman said as he stepped into the room. “We’ll hear what he has to say.”
He looked at Bernard for a brief moment then turned around. “Let’s go.”
