The officer, who was on the duty to keep a tab on the CCTV footage of the interrogation room, was getting bored by seeing Rose’s expressionless face for a long time. The officer went out of the TV room to get some fresh air and failed to notice that the person in the interrogation room was sleeping soundly. More than three hours later, when Alex came to the TV room to watch over Rose’s situation, he rendered shocked to see her beloved lady was in deep slumber in the police interrogation room but looking so cute.

His gaze shifted briefly towards the red room, which had been left untouched for so long that a thin layer of dust had settled over it.

I opened the door just a few inches and saw a small cardboard box sitting on the carpet with no name and no return address, so I pulled it inside and opened the lid while the others crowded around me to see what was inside. Resting on a bed of white tissue paper was a single rose made of delicate glass and the stem was broken in half so it looked dead and jagged, and I knew immediately that it was a message from Elena Romano because that rose was the symbol of the investment firm we had burned down in Berlin.
