I knew she was screaming on the inside, trapped in a living nightmare from which she couldn't awaken. I poured all my energy into reassuring Roxy, desperate to calm the turmoil that ravaged her soul. I spoke softly, my words a gentle breeze in the midst of the hurricane that raged within me. Axel, my wolf, was a seething mass of fury, his rage a palpable force that threatened to consume us both. I fought to keep him calm, to rein in his fury, even as my own anger burned hotter with every passing moment.

She had just laid down when Jojo , who still was on his mission to push the beta as far as he can , bumped the gray , black , brown wolf away and ran after Roxanne like a puppy in love and then hopped upon her , Roxanne snapped her teeth in complaint but didn't bother to fight with him anymore , instead she simply laid peacefully while Jojo snuggled with her .

I said tiredly. “But Alpha, the coronation still has to be done here.” He said with concern. “No buts Leo, I’d have the coronation in my pack, and that’s final. For now, just take me home.” I said, and he nodded his head. My victory night and dinner with my woman were ruined, but at least we conquered the enemy, and Roxanne got back her wolf and powers. What greater gift could there be? And going by Osprey’s words, her getting back her wolf and powers simply means she was in love with me also. Because Osprey had said the only way she could get back her wolf and powers was that true love had to happen.

Still, it had not prepared her to tell Emily all that had happened in the past few weeks. "Say something Em, please." Roxanne pleaded, and Emily's shocked eyes moved to her. "And I thought the writers of teen wolf were crazy. What the hell is going on here Roxy? So you've literally been living with wolves, animals, wild animals, all these months?!" Emily cried out, when she found her voice, and Roxanne frowned.

Roxanne's POV: The tingles that spread throughout my body made me and my wolf feel safe and very calm. A smile formed on my face as I inhaled his amazing scent deeply. It wasn't my intention to embrace him out of the blue. But seeing him try to comfort me in his own cold way made me want to cling to him for just a few minutes, even if he were to push me away. As I closed my eyes, I waited for the moment he would push me away or warn me off harshly as he usually did. When a few minutes went by without him doing anything, I opened my eyes and smiled as my wolf purred happily at how our mate wanted our closure as well.

~Amber’s POV~ ‘Mate.’ Roxanne’s voice filled with that same purr slammed into me with such deafening impact that it completely overwhelmed the understanding of what was happening to me, the knowledge she’d just sent flooding into my head seconds ago.
