The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

It's a visual reminder that Alexander's reign will be different from those that came before. I stand to Alexander's right as tradition dictates, wearing a gown of deep blue silk that matches the formal robes Kieran wears to my left. The crown jewels have been modified for this ceremony—instead of one crown, there are three circlets of varying designs that will mark us as co-rulers. Mine is silver with moonstone accents, Kieran's is crafted from a rare wood inlaid with healing crystals, and Alexander's remains the traditional gold and sapphires of the royal line. "Are you ready for this?" I whisper to Alexander as the elders prepare the ceremonial oils.

MATED TO THE REJECTED ALPHA KING

MATED TO THE REJECTED ALPHA KING

This was the most beautiful crown that I have ever seen since I could ever remember, and I doubt if anyone could get this crown for himself without fighting. As I walked closer to the crown, I noticed another thing: some pieces of metal were shaking the ground, and I could see some metal shaking and coming out of the ground. Some were metal, some were a little bit gold-plated, and some were bronze. I could even see some wooden crowns coming up, and I suggest in my mind that that would be their lowest rank of crown in that environment. In a moment, they all surrounded the big, golden, and shining crown. At the same time, some crowns that gathered around the big crown became dark, and dark smo

Moonlit Monarch: A Duology

Moonlit Monarch: A Duology

She raised it aloft, the symbol of royalty and the culmination of the coronation. "By the divine investiture bestowed upon me as oracle of the gods, I hereby crown you, Valeria Claire Romero, as the Queen of wolves!" Azura proclaimed, her voice resonating with the divine power she represented. In that moment, the hall filled with a hushed reverence, recognizing the sacredness of the occasion. Valeria, now adorned with the crown, was officially recognized as the chosen ruler. The royal coronation had reached its pinnacle, and a new era had begun under the reign of the crowned queen.

My Alpha From Hell

My Alpha From Hell

Sephora squeezed his hand, "And if I'm to be stuck baby-sitting the Lords of Igritann, you're going down with me." A familiar face now walked up onto the wooden platform. His dark skin glowing in the sun, his kind eyes shining with pride, both at his new King and Queen and at the master-piece he now held in his hands. Mathew presented Ambrose and Sephora with a pair of crowns. One was gold with what looked like the peaks of a mountain, and the other, looked like the sweeping golden wings of a pheonix. Sephora had asked the blacksmith to make them a couple of hours after she'd sent the letter. Ambrose huffed a laugh at the sight of the crowns, resting his forehead against Sephora's with adora

Lycan King's Broken Mate: She Has A Baby?

Lycan King's Broken Mate: She Has A Baby?

They were the stewards of the land, entrusted with the welfare and prosperity of their people. As the ceremony reached its pinnacle, the crowns themselves were brought forth, symbols of authority and unity. Kendrick's crown was studded with precious gemstones, reflecting the strength of his rule, while the Faith's crown was adorned with delicate filigree, symbolizing her wisdom and grace. The king's crown was placed upon Kendrick's head with a regal solemnity, a weight that he accepted with a sense of duty and honor. The queen's crown followed, its gentle placement a reminder of the delicate balance she would bring to the kingdom.

The Luna Choosing Game

The Luna Choosing Game

“That rule applies to all but the royal family. Whatever you do, be kind to them.” I gave Nicholas a look, hoping to indicate that I would never be unkind to anyone. He offered a small smile in exchange. He knew that. But he wanted to warn me. I nodded, understanding. Zale continued to speak, “You will know who is of royal blood because only the royals are permitted to wear crowns.” “The larger the crown, the more important the royal,” Nicholas whispered to me. I nodded, grateful for the tip. “Now,” Zale continued. “If you are ready…?”

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY!! This book is almost 600 chapters and it’s not even close to ending. Read the first 20 chapters then skip to about 550 because the rest is going in circles and making out and dry h*mping in closets And Piper almost dies 50 times. Nick won’t claim her. Now your caught up

Put 5 stars so my comment stays at top. This book is literally never-ending and I feel is just becoming a cash grab. The same scenarios keep repeating themselves in different ways and the plot does not progress. We're at 589 chapters in and only NOW seem like we're POSSIBLY getting some progression.

Mated To My Lycan Prince

Mated To My Lycan Prince

Bernice was so pleased with the crown that the satisfaction in her eyes almost overflowed. "You know what? The crown is based on the original one from Kral's mother's wedding. It's called the Moonlight Crown, and for royalty, it's only owned by a recognized queen. And I am their future queen. " I did not speak, but picked it up and placed it carefully over Bernice's hair. The crown graced her beauty. "Bernice, the first guests of the royal family have arrived. Are you ready?" Our father knocked on the door and looked at Bernice, who was already dressed, with satisfaction.

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

The room was full of people, some from the council, others from royal families, friends, family, and people from our Kingdom. All watching and waiting for the ceremony to begin. I was in a black royal jacket that was made with silver threading, and our family crest stitched into my left breast pocket. The wolves were placed proudly amongst the roses and the sword that separated them as they howled at the moon. My silver crown was placed on my head, but that would be changed once mine and Alora's vows were complete and only after the mothers accepted us as the new King and Queen to signal the dawn of a new era.

I’ve read the first three again and am reading dark promises again and the author has been working to this point from book one. Strongly recommend reading them all directly after each other so you can really see how brilliantly it is put together. Will read this in one go once completed

The fifth and final book of the Bloodstone series had a lot to over come and so far it has gone beyond what I expected. This author is truly amazing, there were so many things I didn’t realize were tied into this book and I love seeing all the pieces coming together. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

Frequently Asked Questions

Royals' is one of those books that sneaks up on you with its charm. At its core, it's a YA contemporary romance about Daisy Winters, a regular American girl who gets thrust into the spotlight when her older sister starts dating the Crown Prince of Scotland. Suddenly, Daisy's dealing with paparazzi, royal protocols, and the prince's infuriatingly handsome younger brother, Miles. The plot revolves around her struggle to stay true to herself while navigating this glittering, suffocating world. What I love is how it balances humor with genuine emotional moments—like Daisy accidentally sparking a tabloid scandal by wearing jeans to a formal event, or her slow-burn tension with Miles, who isn't as aloof as he pretends to be. The book also quietly critiques how society obsesses over royalty, using Daisy's fish-out-of-water perspective to highlight the absurdity of it all. By the end, it's less about tiaras and more about finding where you belong.

What really stuck with me was how author Katharine McGee made the royals feel like real people—flawed, funny, and sometimes deeply lonely under all that privilege. There's a scene where Miles confesses he's terrified of becoming 'just another Windsor knockoff' that punched me right in the feels. The book doesn't shy away from the darker sides of fame either, like Daisy's sister being pressured to lose weight for royal events. It's got the frothy fun of 'The Princess Diaries' but with sharper edges, perfect for readers who want romance with substance.
