Ryan threw me a scrutinizing grimace before he shook his head. “Her background, eh?” Rufus bobbed his head and pulled some fries before popping it into his mouth. With how the once filled fries got halved in a short amount of time, at this rate, the fries will be gone before he even finished explaining. “You’re lucky you asked me now. I just hang out with her older cousin a few days ago.” I raised an eyebrow. “She has a cousin?” Rufus nodded his head. “Yeah. Kevin’s the name. He’s cool and all, apart from his attitude when he’s drunk. I can say it’s the worst.” Rufus’s face twisted into a look of disgust when he looked like he remembered something.
