They had started tackling on Russian history this week, which felt just the slightest bit funny. IV Preparing the laboratory was the most difficult part of all, because there were instruments that had to be exported from Europe, but under a false name, everything was bought online, and a false title of scientific biologist was given, so as not to attract the attention of any gossip on the cybernetic networks. Everything was working out well, belatedly. After six long months everything was ready to move forward. Four Russian scientists had been hired for the laboratory, and then their own gang was being assembled.

“Let me guess. They sold it to the Russians.” Luca chuckled. “Bingo.” I dragged my hand over my face. “But Connor Rollins didn't die from a heart attack. This shit melted his insides.” “Because Russians resumed the experiments,” Luca explained. “I assume they might have added more substances to the initial composition. Right now it might be nothing but a fucking poison, but imagine what will happen if they succeed…” “I'd rather not,” I muttered before gulping down more than half of the glass. “Do you think you can talk to that friend of yours? Fedorov, right?” Luca gave me a wry smile. “Not accusing anyone, but that guy is on top of the Bratva's food chain. He has to know something.”
