“If she sees you, ” “I know.” “She’ll run to you.” “I know.” “And then you’ll both, ” “I said I know.” Eamon exhaled angrily. “Then you’re a fool.” Ryder didn’t deny it. Sienna moved again, pacing slowly, rubbing her arms as if cold. The moonlight fell across her face, highlighting every line of exhaustion, every shadow under her eyes. “What did she do to you?” Ryder breathed. Sienna stopped abruptly. Her breath caught. Her shoulders shivered. And for a moment, he saw it , a faint silver glow under her skin, pulsing at her throat, her wrists, the fragile line of her collarbone.

"Your trivial sorceries are no counterpart for the Lycaons." Sienna's lips bended into a wild smile, and she lifted her hands, the efficient power energy blending around her fingers. "We'll see about that," she growled. With a basic cry, she released a downpour of energy, green ringlets erupting and trapping the Lycaon. The monster wailed in anger, whipping against the alien bonds, yet Sienna's power held firm. "Rapidly, Athena!" she snorted, her face bended with effort. "Get Sebastian and run! I can't hold it for a really long time!"

“I’ll wait here in case you’d like to return inside, Miss.” I nodded, though my eyes never left Caelan as he urged the horse into a faster gallop, circling the track again and again, pushing both breath and strength to their limits. It was a sight I wouldn’t soon forget. I stepped closer to the fence, until a neatly dressed man greeted me—it was Aeron, Caelan’s assistant. “Good afternoon, Miss Sierra,” Aeron said politely. “Afternoon,” I replied with a small smile. “Would you like to speak with the Master?”

He let out a mocking laugh. “Jenna, what exactly are you going to accuse Sienna and me of this time?” Sienna Vale smiled sweetly. “Mrs. Pembroke, you stayed away longer than usual this time.” I steadied myself and said, “I’m not Jenna. I’m her twin sister, Summer Sinclair.” Silas burst out laughing. “What is this, your latest stunt?” Then his expression hardened. “Keep pushing me, and I can’t promise you’ll stay Mrs. Pembroke forever.” I only looked at him and said quietly, “Silas, my sister left three

It was the sound of a beast starved for control. I stepped forward, steady and calm. “I know you’re still in there. You’re not a monster. You’re my Luna. Sienna Cole Darkmane!” She roared, leaping at me, claws and fangs flashing. I blocked with my arms, the force sending me stumbling back. We rolled across the forest floor, leaves scattering around us. Sienna snarled, trying to bite my neck, but I held her tight, pinning her down. Blood dripped from my wounds, but I didn’t fight back. Hurting her would mean losing her forever.

“My brother. You’ll help me, won’t you?” Rowan stared at her for several seconds before finally nodding. “I will.” He smiled faintly. “The Sisi I used to know is finally back.” Sienna looked away from him and toward the window. In the end, she said nothing. --- When Rowan returned to Riverton Group, Scarlett was already waiting in his office. “What happened?” she asked. “Did Sienna not break down in tears?” Rowan hung his coat on the rack and cast her a cool glance.

It’s Sienna and Evie. Great! Just great! Sarcasm echoes in my head. Their arms are linked together like best friends. Sienna is wearing a soft pink dress with her hand resting lightly on her barely-there bump. Her eyes meet mine, and her smile freezes, so do her steps. “Well, well, well,” she says sweetly. “Look who’s here.”
