A True. I presumed we all knew that by then and it would be boring to keep stating it so I didn't say a word. I reached for my phone under my pillow and my earpods on the table beside my bed. I plugged them in my ears, connected and searched for a soothing piece to play. After scrolling through two thousand + songs, I settled for 'moonlight sonata' by Beethoven. It seemed to hold more meaning that dawn. I closed my eyes and pretended to play an imaginary piano on the air, totally oblivious of my surrounding, especially poor Maureen who was probably waiting for me to comfort her. I'm sorry Maureen, but if you happen to read this in future, just know that I wasn't trying to be rude. I was mere

' Gwen thought as she opened the gallery app to search for the naked photos of Sienna. Gwen immediately deleted all the photos of Sienna, which Braddy had gotten from heaven knows where. "Sienna!" called Susan, suddenly appearing at the doorway of Braddy's room. "What are you doing in Braddy's bedroom?" Susan looked suspicious, her gaze probing and watchful.

She looked incredibly small. Sarah observed the hollows carving into Tracy’s cheekbones. She noted the translucent, fragile quality of her skin and the faint, unmistakable scent of a fading wolf that clung to the air. Sarah had lived a long time. She had seen the ravages of war, the scars of rogue attacks, and the quiet, devastating rot of a broken mate bond. She knew the signs of Lunar Decay. She knew it was a death sentence.

Then, he looked into my eyes. His breath hitched. "Elara... your eyes." "I know," I said. My voice didn't sound like mine. It was deeper, layered with a metallic echo. "The violet is gone, Malachi." I looked into the reflection of a nearby puddle. The vibrant, fiery purple of the Primal Seed had been extinguished. My irises were now a flat, mirror-like silver—the exact color of Malachi’s—but with pupils that slit like a cat’s when I focused.

When we got close to where Lily had mentioned, I could feel the magical power touching my skin. “Do you feel that?” I whispered to Aiden. He nodded, his face grim. “It's similar to Ryder's energy, but… different somehow. More focused.” As we made our way through a thick group of bushes, we unexpectedly arrived in a tiny open space. In the exact middle, just slightly above the ground, there was a strange thing. It seemed like a crystal, but it glowed with a light inside that changed and moved in unusual ways. Aiden breathed, taking a step closer.

They just kept coming. Through the chaos, my eyes darted back to Sienna. That damned Ronny was still there, closing in with another syringe. “Stop!” I roared, but two rogues blocked my path. Ronny looked at me, smirking, then plunged the needle into Sienna’s arm. “You’re too late, Alpha.” Sienna screamed, her body arching. Her eyes blazed a fierce red, her breath quickened, and her skin began to shimmer faintly. White fur sprouted along her arms.

Chapter 8- Down below Raven’s POV I sit on my bed, legs crossed, Sienna’s earring resting in my palm like a loaded gun. Ten minutes. That’s how long I’ve been waiting, and I know she’ll walk in any second now, lie cocked and ready on her tongue. Sienna’s always been a good liar. Right on cue, the door handle turns. " Sienna's laughter intensified, echoing off the walls like a haunting melody. She paced around me, reveling in my pain. "What happened, you ask?" she spat, her eyes gleaming with madness. "Life happened, Rose. Life showed me the futility of trust and the weakness of love and family. It taught me that power is the only true currency in this world." I clenched my teeth, fighting against the waves of agony that threatened to consume me. "Sienna, you're wrong," I whispered. Sienna's laughter turned bitter, and she knelt down beside me, her face twisted with a mix of rage and desperation. She grabbed my chin, squeezing it, causing me to cry in pain.
